Thou art the First Mystery, | which existed from 1 the beginning in the Ineffable before it came forth; and the name thereof are we all.

in order that I may take that light. And I went and found myself in the darkness which is in the chaos below, and I could no more speed thence and go to my region, for I was sore pressed by all the emanations of Self-willed, and the lion-faced power took away my light in me.

When then Jesus said this, he chanted a song of praise in the great name. The regions of the ways of the midst hid themselves, and Jesus and his disciples remained in an air of exceedingly strong light.

“and give heed to my vindication, give heed to my vengeance, my God and my Lord. “24. Judge me, O Lord, according to thy justice; let them not rejoice over me, my God. 25. And let them not say: Well done, our soul. Let them not say: We have consumed him. 26. Let them be put to shame and be scorned, who rejoice at my mischance.”
