13.15
ⲟⲩⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉⲧⲁⲓⲁⲓϥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲁⲓⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲓⲥ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ .
For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you.
13.16
ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲡⲉϥϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟϥ .
Most certainly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his lord, neither one who is sent greater than he who sent him.
13.17
ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲱⲟⲩⲛⲓⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ .
If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
13.18
ⲛⲁⲓϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ϯⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲥⲟⲧⲡⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲅⲣⲁⲫⲏ ϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙⲡⲁⲱⲓⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲑⲓⲃⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲓ .
I don't speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen. But that the Scripture may be fulfilled, 'He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.'
13.19
ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲙⲡⲁⲧⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲁⲥϣⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ .
From now on, I tell you before it happens, that when it happens, you may believe that I am he.
13.20
ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧϣⲱⲡ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉϯⲛⲁⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡϥ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧϣⲱⲡ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟⲓ .
Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.'
13.21
ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲁϥϣⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓⲧ
When Jesus had said this, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, 'Most certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me.'
13.22
ⲛⲁⲩⲥⲟⲙⲥ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲥⲉⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲁϥϫⲫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲛⲓⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ .
The disciples looked at one another, perplexed about whom he spoke.
13.23
ⲛⲁϥⲣⲟⲧⲉⲃ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲕⲉⲛϥ ⲛⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲙⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was at the table, leaning against Jesus' breast.
13.24
ⲁϥϭⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲉⲛϥ ϫⲉⲁϥϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲛⲓⲙ .
Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, and said to him, 'Tell us who it is of whom he speaks.'
13.25
ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩϥ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲙⲉⲥⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲡⲁϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ .
He, leaning back, as he was, on Jesus' breast, asked him, 'Lord, who is it?'
13.26
ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉϯⲛⲁⲥⲉⲡ ⲡⲓⲗⲱⲙ ⲛⲧⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲉⲡ ⲡⲓⲗⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲓⲥⲕⲁⲣⲓⲱⲧⲏⲥ .
Jesus therefore answered, 'It is he to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it.' So when he had dipped the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
13.27
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁⲡⲓⲗⲱⲙ ⲁϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲕⲛⲁⲁⲓϥ ⲁⲣⲓⲧϥ ⲛⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ .
After the piece of bread, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, 'What you do, do quickly.'
13.28
ⲡⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲙⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲧⲉⲃ ϫⲉⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ .
Now no man at the table knew why he said this to him.
13.29
ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲩⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉⲉⲡⲓⲇⲏ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲡⲓⲅⲗⲱⲥⲟⲕⲟⲙⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ϫⲉⲁⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲡϣⲁⲓ ⲓⲉ ϫⲉϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϩⲏⲕⲓ .
For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus said to him, 'Buy what things we need for the feast,' or that he should give something to the poor.
13.30
ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲱⲙ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁϥⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲥⲁⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛⲉⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ .
Therefore, having received that morsel, he went out immediately. It was night.
13.31
ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲉϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲁϥϭⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϭⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ .
When he had gone out, Jesus said, 'Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.
13.32
ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲁⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϭⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲁϯⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲁⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲉϥⲉϯⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ .
If God has been glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him immediately.
13.33
ⲛⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ϯⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲕⲱϯ ⲛⲥⲱⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ϫⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉϯⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
Little children, I will be with you a little while longer. You will seek me, and as I said to the Jews, 'Where I am going, you can't come,' so now I tell you.
13.34
ⲟⲩⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲙⲃⲉⲣⲓ ⲉϯϯ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ .
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.
13.35
ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲁⲓ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲉⲙⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ .
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.'
13.36
ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁⲕⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲑⲱⲛ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉϯⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲉⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲓ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲡϧⲁⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲕⲉⲙⲟϣⲓ .
Simon Peter said to him, 'Lord, where are you going?' Jesus answered, 'Where I am going, you can't follow now, but you will follow afterwards.'
13.37
ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲉⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲕ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲧⲁⲯⲩⲭⲏ ϯⲛⲁⲭⲁⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲕ .
Peter said to him, 'Lord, why can't I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.'
13.38
ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲉⲧⲉⲕⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲭⲛⲁⲭⲁⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲓ ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲕ ϫⲉⲛⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲗⲉⲕⲧⲱⲣ ⲙⲟⲩϯ ϣⲁⲧⲉⲕϫⲟⲗⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲅ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ .
Jesus answered him, 'Will you lay down your life for me? Most certainly I tell you, the rooster won't crow until you have denied me three times.
14.1
ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ϣⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲛⲁϩϯⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ϩⲱ .
'Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.
14.2
ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲙⲙⲟⲛⲏ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲏⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲛⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲓⲛⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉϯⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲥⲉⲃⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
In my Father's house are many homes. If it weren't so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.
14.3
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲥⲉⲃⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲓⲉⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲉⲗ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲙⲫⲙⲁ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉϯϣⲟⲡ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ .
If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.
14.4
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲙⲁ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉϯⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ .
Where I go, you know, and you know the way.'
14.5
ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲑⲱⲙⲁⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲁⲕⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲑⲱⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲉⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ .
Thomas said to him, 'Lord, we don't know where you are going. How can we know the way?'
14.6
ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛⲉⲙϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲱⲛϧ ⲙⲡⲁⲣⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ⲓ ϩⲁⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲁϥϣⲧⲉⲙⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧ .
Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
14.7
ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛⲧ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲕⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him, and have seen him.'
14.8
ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲫⲓⲗⲓⲡⲡⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲙⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟⲛ ⲉⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕⲏⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲛ .
Philip said to him, 'Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.'
14.9
ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲡⲁⲓⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ϯⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛⲧ ⲫⲓⲗⲓⲡⲡⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲱⲥ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲕϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲙⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟⲛ ⲉⲫⲓⲱⲧ .
Jesus said to him, 'Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, 'Show us the Father?'

ⲭⲛⲁϩϯ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲛϧⲏⲧ ⲛⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⲛϧⲏ ⲧⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ .
Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works.
14.11
ⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲛϧⲏⲧ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲕⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲓϩⲃⲏ ⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ .
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works' sake.
14.12
ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲛⲓϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉϯⲣⲁ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲉϥⲉⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ϩⲁⲫⲓⲱⲧ
Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.
14.13
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲣⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ ⲉⲓⲉⲁⲓϥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϭⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲓⲱⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ .
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14.14
ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲣⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ϯⲛⲁⲁⲓϥ .
If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
14.15
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲛⲁⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ
If you love me, keep my commandments.
14.16
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϯϩⲟ ⲉⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉϯ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲙⲡⲁⲣⲁⲕⲗⲏⲧⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ
I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever,--
14.17
ⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲉϣⲟⲡϥ ϫⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϥⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϫⲉⲁϥϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ .
the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.
14.18
ⲛⲛⲁⲭⲁ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛⲟⲣⲫⲁⲛⲟⲥ ϯⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.
14.19

Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.
14.20
ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲉⲙⲓ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ .
In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
14.21
ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲛⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲑⲙⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲙⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲉϥⲉⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧϥ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲓⲉⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛϩⲧ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
One who has my commandments, and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.'
14.22

14.23

Jesus answered him, 'If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him.
14.24
ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛϥⲙⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲁⲛ ϥⲛⲁⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲛⲁⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲫⲱⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲁ ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟⲓ .
He who doesn't love me doesn't keep my words. The word which you hear isn't mine, but the Father's who sent me.
14.25
ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲓϣⲟⲡ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ .
I have said these things to you, while still living with you.
14.26
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲕⲗⲏ ⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲁⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡϥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲛⲁϯ ⲙⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲓϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
14.27
ϯⲛⲁⲭⲱ ⲛⲧⲁϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲧⲁϩⲓⲣⲏ ⲛⲏ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ϯⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲉϯⲛⲁϯ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉϥϣⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣϣⲗⲁϩ ⲛϩⲏⲧ .
Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
14.28
ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉϯⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉϯⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ϩⲁⲫⲓⲱⲧ ϫⲉⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲡⲉ .
You heard how I told you, 'I go away, and I come to you.' If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I said 'I am going to my Father;' for the Father is greater than I.
14.29
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲙⲡⲁⲧⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲁⲥϣⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ .
Now I have told you before it happens so that, when it happens, you may believe.
14.30
ⲛϯⲛⲁϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲁⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϩⲗⲓ ⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲛϧⲏⲧ .
I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.
14.31
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲉⲙⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉϯⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ϯⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲁⲓ .
But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded me, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.
15.1
ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ϯⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲫⲙⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓ .
'I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
15.2
ⲕⲗⲏⲙⲁ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲛϧⲏⲧ ⲉⲧⲉⲛϥⲛⲁⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ϥⲛⲁⲕⲟⲣϫϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ϥⲛⲁⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟϥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲉⲛ ϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ .
Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
15.3
ϩⲏⲇⲏ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
15.4
ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲗⲏⲙⲁ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲁϥϣⲧⲉⲙϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛϯⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲧⲉⲙϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧ .
Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
15.5
ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ϯⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲛⲓⲕⲗⲏⲙⲁ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉϥⲉⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉⲁⲧϭⲛⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲉⲣ ϩⲗⲓ
I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
15.6
ⲁⲣⲉϣⲧⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϩⲓⲧϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲗⲏⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϣⲁϥϣⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϣⲁⲩⲑⲟⲩⲱⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲉϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲓⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϣⲁⲩⲣⲱⲕϩ .
If a man doesn't remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
15.7
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲁⲥⲁϫⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁϣϥ ⲁⲣⲓⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
15.8
ϧⲉⲛⲫⲁⲓ ⲁϥϭⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ .
'In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.

ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ⲁⲓⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ .
Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love.
15.10
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲛⲁⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲛⲓⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲉϥⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ .
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and remain in his love.
15.11

I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.

ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲁⲥ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϩⲗⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲭⲱ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲡⲉϥϣⲫⲏⲣ .
Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.

You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.

No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn't know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you.

You didn't choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
15.17
ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ϯϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ .
'I command these things to you, that you may love one another.

If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.

ⲉⲛⲉ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲫⲱϥ ⲟⲧⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓⲥⲉⲧⲡ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲙⲟⲥϯ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
15.20
ⲁⲣⲓⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲛⲁⲁϥ ⲉⲡⲉϥϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲁⲩϭⲟϫⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲓ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲩⲉϭⲟϫⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲡⲁⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲩⲉⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲫⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his lord.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will keep yours also.
15.21
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲥⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟⲓ .
But all these things will they do to you for my name's sake, because they don't know him who sent me.
15.22
ⲉⲛⲉ ⲙⲡⲓⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲁⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲛⲧⲟⲩ ⲗⲱⲓϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲟⲩⲛⲟⲃⲓ .
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
15.23
ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲙⲟⲥϯ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ϥⲙⲟⲥϯ ⲙⲡⲁⲕⲉⲓⲱⲧ .
He who hates me, hates my Father also.
15.24
ⲉⲛⲉ ⲙⲡⲓⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏ ⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲉ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲙⲉⲥⲧⲱⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲁⲕⲉⲓⲱⲧ .
If I hadn't done among them the works which no one else did, they wouldn't have had sin. But now have they seen and also hated both me and my Father.
15.25
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲧⲥϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϩⲓⲡⲟⲩⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲁⲩⲙⲉⲥⲧⲱⲓ ⲛϫⲓⲛϫⲏ .
But this happened so that the word may be fulfilled which was written in their law, 'They hated me without a cause.'
15.26
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲕⲗⲏⲧⲟⲥ ⲫⲏ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉϯⲛⲁⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡϥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧ .
'When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
15.27

You will also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.
16.1
ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲧⲉⲙⲉⲣⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲓⲍⲉⲥⲑⲉ .
'These things have I spoken to you, so that you wouldn't be caused to stumble.
16.2
ⲁⲩϣⲁⲛⲉⲣ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲟⲥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϧⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲩⲓ ϫⲉⲁϥⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .
They will put you out of the synagogues. Yes, the time comes that whoever kills you will think that he offers service to God.
16.3
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲩⲉⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛⲧ .
They will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.
16.4
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲁⲥϣⲁⲛⲓ ⲛϫⲉϯⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲡⲟⲩⲙⲉⲩⲓ ϫⲉⲁⲓⲟⲩⲱ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲓϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲓϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϩⲏ ϫⲉⲛⲁⲓⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉ
But I have told you these things, so that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you about them. I didn't tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.
16.5
ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ϯⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ϩⲁⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ϫⲉⲭⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲑⲱⲛ .
But now I am going to him who sent me, and none of you asks me, 'Where are you going?'
16.6
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϫⲉⲁⲓϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲡⲉⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲁϩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ .
But because I have told you these things, sorrow has filled your heart.
16.7
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲧⲙⲏⲓ ⲡⲉϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲥⲉⲣⲛⲟϥⲣⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲛⲧⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲓϣⲧⲉⲙϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲕⲗⲏ ⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ϯⲛⲁⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡϥ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don't go away, the Counselor won't come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
16.8
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲥⲟϩⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩϩⲁⲡ .
When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment;

ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲥⲉⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲁⲛ .
about sin, because they don't believe in me;

ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩϩⲁⲡ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉⲡⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲁⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱ ⲉⲩϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
about judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged.
16.12
ⲟⲩⲟⲛϯ ϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲙⲏϣ ⲉϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣϥⲁⲓ ϧⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ .
'I have yet many things to tell you, but you can't bear them now.
16.13
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲉϥⲉϭⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲥⲟⲑⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲛⲁⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲁⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ .
However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.
16.14
ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϯⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉⲁϥⲛⲁϭⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲧⲉⲫⲱⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲛⲁⲧⲁⲙⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ .
He will glorify me, for he will take from what is mine, and will declare it to you.
16.15

All things whatever the Father has are mine; therefore I said that he takes of mine, and will declare it to you.
16.16
ⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ .
A little while, and you will not see me. Again a little while, and you will see me.'
16.17
ⲡⲉϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏ ⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲡⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ϩⲁⲫⲓⲱⲧ .
Some of his disciples therefore said to one another, 'What is this that he says to us, 'A little while, and you won't see me, and again a little while, and you will see me;' and, 'Because I go to the Father?''
16.18
