Translation

Col. I

  1. 1.-7.   Iddin-Dagan, king – Anu has decreed you at the place of his valiance a great destiny.
  2. 8.-18. He made the just [cr]own shine for you. [He] raised you [t]o the  herdsmanship of the country. He put the country in front of your feet.

Col. II

1-4       Enlil has given you this command.

5-9       Iddin-Dagan, you are the sheperd of his heart.

10-12   You are the one, whom Enlil appointed.

13-17   Ea [brought to you] gr[eat] rea[son, knowledge] of all[ things (…)].
