Commentary
8' Note the misuse of the suffix -šu instead of ṯhe expected -ša. Reconstruction of i-na ša-a[l-ši], pace i-na ša-ni-[…] of Veldhuis 1991, 65 is based on the contemporary parallel AuOr Suppl. 23, 20 and is supported by the sign traces.
12' The unusual writing of PEŠ4 instead of munusPEŠ4 is also found in the ritual KBo 36, 29:A III 7’, cf. Schwemer 1998, 125.
14' rēš libbim denoting the epigastric region of the abdomen, cf. CAD R 284. Another misuse of the suffix -šu instead of -ša.
