Commentary
6’. The reconstruction by Arnaud 2007, 75 (followed by Márquez Rowe 2014) based on the later parallels (ú-sap-pi-ḫa) to read me ḫal-li u[š-tap-pi-ḫa ka-la SU-ša] is not desirable. Arnaud’s copy and the photograph published by Del Olmo Lete clearly suggest the sign i[l] not u[š], whereas one can see traces of two following parallel horizontal wedges instead of the vertical wedge expected for uš, implicating to read here ilput, which might also be restored for line 8’. Note ḫal-li instead of ḫīlū.
