Commentary

2, 3, 6, 7, 8: Cavigneaux (1999, 260) analyses uššap and lu-ši-ip as forms of wašāpum-G, which according to AHw 1484 are not attested elsewhere. Nonetheless, already in MB I-w verbs, which in OB show only sound forms (GAG §103o), start to have weak forms as well (GAG §103r). The forms in these lines may therefore point at a late-OB, or even to a MB date. The translation of wašāpum (G or D) here follows Cooper 1996, 49.
Noticeable are the unique forms ra-ma-na-šu, instead of the expected ra-ma-an-šu, in ll. 2 and 6.
5: qa?-mu-um qa?-am-šu? remains unclear, but cf. qāmum in CAD Q 79a.
