Commentary
10–11: Another example of pulḫītum, a blister on one's face resulting of hunger and physical stress, is found in Atra-ḫasīs III iii 28'–29' [pu]-ul-ḫi-ta ú-ka-la-la ša-ap-ta-ša "(Nintu, the great lady,) her lips were covered with distress".
14: So, contra Gurney 1989, 22, who reads ši-ú-tum ("the neighbours…").
