19a Incantation (against) a dog.
Commentary
General: George (2016, 47) notes that the language of this short incantation is unidentified, raising the possibility that it contains a reference to the igitelûm "a monoculus". Since the colophon makes it clear that the incantation is against a dog (as the previous text in the same tablet), the following reading is cautiously presented, assuming the text is a fully Akkadian one.
17: i-gi: hard-pressed, i-gi could stand for īku "dike".
17–19: The verb involved is probably elûm with ventive, hence tēlia and ēlia.
