5' Do not wake [up] the sleeping [Bēl!]

6' [For yo]u I will prepare ‘that-of-silver’, your [golden] chicks.

7' [I will wa]ke you up, I will place

Commentary

3': it-ta-na-áš-⌈šu?⌉ is clear on the tablet. The variant in BM 46293+ r. i 17' reads, however, ḫar-ba-qa-an it-ta⌉-na-a[l?]-ú?⌉ “the ḫarbaqqannu-bird keeps lying down”.

7': After a-šak-ka[n. . .] there is a space for more text, which the parallels do not have.

 

9': The parallels have a-mat-ma, but the first visible sign here is not KUR, hence, perhaps, [a-ma-a]t-ma.
