21. Al-Anbiyaa — The Prophets

  1. 21:101

    إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقَتۡ لَهُم مِّنَّا ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰٓ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ عَنۡهَا مُبۡعَدُونَ

    Inna allatheena sabaqat lahum minna alhusna olaika AAanha mubAAadoona

    Lo! those unto whom kindness hath gone forth before from Us, they will be far removed from thence

  2. 21:102

    لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَاۖ وَهُمۡ فِي مَا ٱشۡتَهَتۡ أَنفُسُهُمۡ خَٰلِدُونَ

    La yasmaAAoona haseesaha wahum fee ma ishtahat anfusuhum khalidoona

    They will not hear the slightest sound thereof, while they abide in that which their souls desire

  3. 21:103

    لَا يَحۡزُنُهُمُ ٱلۡفَزَعُ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرُ وَتَتَلَقَّىٰهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ هَٰذَا يَوۡمُكُمُ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُمۡ تُوعَدُونَ

    La yahzunuhumu alfazaAAu alakbaru watatalaqqahumu almalaikatu hatha yawmukumu allathee kuntum tooAAadoona

    The Supreme Horror will not grieve them, and the angels will welcome them, (saying): This is your Day which ye were promised

  4. 21:104

    يَوۡمَ نَطۡوِي ٱلسَّمَآءَ كَطَيِّ ٱلسِّجِلِّ لِلۡكُتُبِۚ كَمَا بَدَأۡنَآ أَوَّلَ خَلۡقࣲ نُّعِيدُهُۥۚ وَعۡدًا عَلَيۡنَآۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ

    Yawma natwee alssamaa katayyi alssijlli lilkutubi kama badana awwala khalqin nuAAeeduhu waAAdan AAalayna inna kunna faAAileena

    The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolleth up a written scroll. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon Us. Lo! We are to perform it

  5. 21:105

    وَلَقَدۡ كَتَبۡنَا فِي ٱلزَّبُورِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ٱلذِّكۡرِ أَنَّ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِيَ ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ

    Walaqad katabna fee alzzaboori min baAAdi alththikri anna alarda yarithuha AAibadiya alssalihoona

    And verily we have written in the Scripture, after the Reminder: My righteous slaves will inherit the earth

  6. 21:106

    إِنَّ فِي هَٰذَا لَبَلَٰغࣰ ا لِّقَوۡمٍ عَٰبِدِينَ

    Inna fee hatha labalaghan liqawmin AAabideena

    Lo! there is a plain statement for folk who are devout

  7. 21:107

    وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ إِلَّا رَحۡمَةࣰ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    Wama arsalnaka illa rahmatan lilAAalameena

    We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples

  8. 21:108

    قُلۡ إِنَّمَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَٰهُكُمۡ إِلَٰهࣱ وَٰحِدࣱۖ فَهَلۡ أَنتُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ

    Qul innama yooha ilayya annama ilahukum ilahun wahidun fahal antum muslimoona

    Say: It is only inspired in me that your Allah is One Allah. Will ye then surrender (unto Him)

  9. 21:109

    فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَقُلۡ ءَاذَنتُكُمۡ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءࣲۖ وَإِنۡ أَدۡرِيٓ أَقَرِيبٌ أَم بَعِيدࣱ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ

    Fain tawallaw faqul athantukum AAala sawain wain adree aqareebun am baAAeedun ma tooAAadoona

    But if they are averse, then say: I have warned you all alike, although I know not whether nigh or far is that which ye are promised

  10. 21:110

    إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا تَكۡتُمُونَ

    Innahu yaAAlamu aljahra mina alqawli wayaAAlamu ma taktumoona

    Lo! He knoweth that which is said openly, and that which ye conceal

  11. 21:111

    وَإِنۡ أَدۡرِي لَعَلَّهُۥ فِتۡنَةࣱ لَّكُمۡ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينࣲ‏

    Wain adree laAAallahu fitnatun lakum wamataAAun ila heenin

    And I know not but that this may be a trial for you, and enjoyment for a while

  12. 21:112

    قَٰلَ رَبِّ ٱحۡكُم بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَرَبُّنَا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ ٱلۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ

    Qala rabbi ohkum bialhaqqi warabbuna alrrahmanu almustaAAanu AAala ma tasifoona

    He saith: My Lord! Judge Thou with truth. Our Lord is the Beneficent, Whose help is to be implored against that which ye ascribe (unto Him)
