104. Al-Humaza — The Traducer
- 104:1
وَيۡلࣱ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةࣲ لُّمَزَةٍ
Waylun likulli humazatin lumazatin
Woe unto every slandering traducer
- 104:2
ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالࣰ ا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
Allathee jamaAAa malan waAAaddadahu
Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it
- 104:3
يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ
Yahsabu anna malahu akhladahu
He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal
- 104:4
كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
Kalla layunbathanna fee alhutamati
Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One
- 104:5
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ
Wama adraka ma alhutamatu
Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is
- 104:6
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ
Naru Allahi almooqadatu
(It is) the fire of Allah, kindled
- 104:7
ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ
Allatee tattaliAAu AAala alafidati
Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men)
- 104:8
إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةࣱ
lnnaha AAalayhim musadatun
Lo! it is closed in on them
- 104:9
فِي عَمَدࣲ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ
Fee AAamadin mumaddadatin
