1. 1.1

   ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲫⲃⲱⲕ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁϯⲙⲉⲧⲉⲩⲥⲉⲃⲏ ⲥ

   Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's chosen ones, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

2. 1.2

   ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲱⲛϧ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲱϣ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲁⲧⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϧⲁϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ .

   in hope of eternal life, which God, who can't lie, promised before time began;

3. 1.3

   ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉϥⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲧⲉⲛϩⲟⲩⲧ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ

   but in his own time revealed his word in the message with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;

   ⲛⲧⲓⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁϯⲙⲉⲧϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲧϩⲓⲣⲏ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ .

   to Titus, my true child according to a common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

5. 1.5

   ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲓⲥⲟϫⲡⲕ ϧⲉⲛⲕⲣⲓⲑⲏ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲓⲥⲱϫⲡ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲧⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲥⲉⲙⲛⲓ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ ⲛⲁⲕ .

   I left you in Crete for this reason, that you would set in order the things that were lacking, and appoint elders in every city, as I directed you;

   ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧⲗⲱⲓϫⲓ ⲉⲁϥⲉⲣϩⲁⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛϩⲁⲛϣⲏ ⲣⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲥⲉϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲕⲁⲧⲏⲅⲟⲣⲓⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲙⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲓⲉ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ .

   if anyone is blameless, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, who are not accused of loose or unruly behavior.

   ⲥϣⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲉⲡⲓⲥⲕⲟⲡⲟⲥ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧⲗⲱⲓϫⲓ ϩⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲟⲓⲕⲟⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲩⲑⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲉϥϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲉ ϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲏⲣⲡ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲉϥϯⲧⲉⲛϣⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁⲓϩⲏⲟⲩ ⲉϥϣⲏϣ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ .

   For the overseer must be blameless, as God's steward; not self-pleasing, not easily angered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for dishonest gain;

   ⲉⲟⲩⲙⲁⲓϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ ⲡⲉ ⲙⲙⲁⲓⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ ⲛⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲛⲧⲙⲏⲓ ⲉϥⲧⲟⲩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲉⲟⲩⲉⲅⲕⲣⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲉ .

   but given to hospitality, as a lover of good, sober minded, fair, holy, self-controlled;

9. 1.9

   ⲉϥⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲟⲧ ⲉϯⲥⲃⲱ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⲛϯⲛⲟⲙϯ ϧⲉⲛϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲟϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲥⲟϩⲓ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲁⲛⲧⲓⲗⲉⲅⲓⲛ .

   holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict those who contradict him.

10. 1.10

    ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲉⲧⲉⲫⲗⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣϩⲁⲗ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲁⲗⲓⲥⲧⲁ ⲛⲓⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲥⲉⲃⲓ .

    For there are also many unruly men, vain talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,

    ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲥϣⲉ ⲛⲑⲱⲙ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲣⲓⲕⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛⲏⲓ ⲉⲩϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲥϣⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩϩⲏⲟⲩ ⲉϥϣⲟϣϥ .

    whose mouths must be stopped; men who overthrow whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for dishonest gain's sake.

12. 1.12

    ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲛⲓⲕⲣⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲉϥϫⲉⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲩϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉϩⲁⲛⲛⲉϫⲓ ⲛⲁⲣⲅⲟⲥ ⲛⲉ .

    One of them, a prophet of their own, said, 'Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, and idle gluttons.'

13. 1.13

    ⲧⲁⲓⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲧⲁⲓⲗⲱⲓϫⲓ ⲥⲟϩⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϣⲱⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲁϩϯ .

    This testimony is true. For this cause, reprove them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,

    ⲛⲥⲉϯ ⲛϩⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲛϩⲁⲛϣϥⲱ ⲙⲙⲉⲧⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲩⲫⲱⲛϩ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲙⲏⲓ .

    not paying attention to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.

15. 1.15

    ϩⲱⲃ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲥⲉⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲧⲟⲩⲃⲏ ⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲁⲑⲛⲁϩϯ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϩⲗⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁϥⲥⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲩⲥⲩⲛⲏⲇⲉⲥⲓⲥ .

    To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.

16. 1.16

    ⲥⲉⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉⲥⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲥⲉϫⲱⲗ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲩⲟⲣⲉⲃ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧϯⲙⲁϯ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧϣⲁⲩ ⲙⲡⲕⲱϯ ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ .

    They profess that they know God, but by their works they deny him, being abominable, disobedient, and unfit for any good work.

17. 2.1

    ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲟϫ .

    But say the things which fit sound doctrine,

    ⲛⲓϧⲉⲗⲗⲟⲓ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲣⲏⲥ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲥⲉⲙⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟϫ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ϧⲉⲛϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ϧⲉⲛϯϩⲩⲡⲟⲙⲟⲛⲏ .

    that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober minded, sound in faith, in love, and in patience:

19. 2.3

    ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲛⲓϧⲉⲗⲗⲱ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲥⲉⲙⲛⲓ ⲉⲩⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲙⲡⲓⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲉϩⲁⲛⲇⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏ ϣⲛⲏⲣⲡ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ .

    and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;

20. 2.4

    ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲗⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲛϩⲓⲟⲙⲓ ⲉⲉⲣⲙⲁⲓϩⲁⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ .

    that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,

21. 2.5

    ⲛⲥⲁⲃⲏ ⲉⲩⲧⲟⲩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲥⲉϩⲛⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲛⲁⲅⲁⲑⲏ ⲉⲩϭⲛⲟ ⲛϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲥⲉϫⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲛ .

    to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God's word may not be blasphemed.

22. 2.6

    ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲛⲓϧⲉⲗϣⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲁⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲉⲣⲥⲁⲃⲉ .

    Likewise, exhort the younger men to be sober minded;

23. 2.7

    ⲉⲕⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲛⲧⲩⲡⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ϧⲉⲛϯⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲥⲉⲙⲛⲟⲥ .

    in all things showing yourself an example of good works; in your teaching showing integrity, seriousness, incorruptibility,

24. 2.8

    ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲟϫ ⲛⲁⲧⲉⲣⲕⲁⲧⲁⲅⲓⲛⲱⲥⲕⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϭⲓϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧϯ ⲟⲩⲃⲏⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲛⲧⲉϥ ϩⲗⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϫⲱϥ ϧⲁⲣⲟⲛ .

    and soundness of speech that can't be condemned; that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us.

25. 2.9

    ⲛⲓⲉⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲟⲩϭⲓⲥⲉⲩ ⲉⲩⲣⲁⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ .

    Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters, and to be well-pleasing in all things; not contradicting;

26. 2.10

    ⲛⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⲛⲣⲉϥϭⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ ⲛⲥⲉⲥⲉⲗⲥⲱⲗⲥ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ .

    not stealing, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things.

27. 2.11

    ⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲉⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ

    For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

    ⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲉⲁⲛϫⲉⲗ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏ ⲥⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ ⲛⲕⲟⲥⲙⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲱⲛϧ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲉⲩⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲛⲟⲩ .

    instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world;

29. 2.13

    ⲉⲛϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲁϫⲱⲥ ⲛϯⲛⲁⲓⲁⲧⲥ ⲛϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲫⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ .

    looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ;

30. 2.14

    ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲛ ϣⲁⲧⲉϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟⲛ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲩⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲥⲙⲟⲛⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲭⲟϩ ⲉϩⲁⲛϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ .

    who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

31. 2.15

    ⲛⲁⲓ ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲥⲟϩⲓ ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲉⲙⲓ .

    Say these things and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no man despise you.

32. 3.1

    ⲙⲁⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲣⲉϥϯⲙⲁϯ ⲛⲥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧ ⲉϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ .

    Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,

33. 3.2

    to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men.

34. 3.3

    ⲛⲁⲛⲟⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲱⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲁⲧⲉⲙⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧϯⲙⲁϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲛⲥⲟⲣⲉⲙ ⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛϩⲩⲇⲟⲛⲏ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏ ϣⲛⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲕⲁⲕⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲫⲑⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲛⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲙⲙⲉⲥⲧⲱⲛ ⲉⲛⲙⲟⲥϯ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏ ⲟⲩ .

    For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

35. 3.4

    ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙϯⲙⲉⲧⲙⲁⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ .

    But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared,

36. 3.5

    ⲛⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲛϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲛⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲉϥⲛⲁⲓ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡⲓϫⲱⲕⲉⲙ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁϩⲉⲙⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁϩⲉⲙⲃⲉⲣⲓ .

    not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

    ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟϣϥ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏ ⲣ .

    whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;

38. 3.7

    ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲙⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲟⲩϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲱⲛϧ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ .

    that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

39. 3.8

    ϥⲉⲛϩⲟⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲁⲓⲕⲉⲭ ⲱⲟⲩⲛⲓ ϯⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲕⲧⲁϫⲣⲟⲕ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉϥⲓⲫⲣⲱⲟⲩϣ ⲉϯⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ .

    This saying is faithful, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men;

40. 3.9

    ⲛⲓⲕⲱϯ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲥⲟϫ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓϣϭⲛⲏⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲙⲗⲁϧ ⲛⲛⲟⲙⲓⲕⲟⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲁⲛⲁⲧϯϩⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲉⲫⲗⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ .

    but shun foolish questionings, genealogies, strife, and disputes about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

41. 3.10

    ⲟⲩⲉⲣⲉⲧⲓⲕⲟⲥ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁⲟⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲛⲉⲙⲃⲛϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁϥ ⲁⲣⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲧⲓⲥⲑⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ .

    Avoid a factious man after a first and second warning;

42. 3.11

    ⲉⲕⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲁϥⲫⲱⲛϩ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉⲁϥϩⲓⲧϥ ⲙⲡⲓϩⲁⲡ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ .

    knowing that such a one is perverted, and sins, being self-condemned.

43. 3.12

    ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲛϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛⲁⲣⲧⲉⲙⲁ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲕ ⲓⲉ ⲧⲓⲭⲓⲕⲟⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲉⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⲉⲛⲓⲕⲟⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲁⲓⲑⲱϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲉⲣϯⲫⲣⲱ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ .

    When I send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, be diligent to come to me to Nicopolis, for I have determined to winter there.

44. 3.13

    ⲍⲏⲛⲁⲥ ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲙⲓⲕⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲡⲟⲗⲗⲱ ⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉϣⲧⲉⲙϭⲣⲟϩ ⲛϩⲗⲓ .

    Send Zenas, the lawyer, and Apollos on their journey speedily, that nothing may be lacking for them.

45. 3.14

    ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲥⲁⲃⲟ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϥⲓⲫⲣⲱⲟⲩϣ ⲛϩⲁⲛϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ ⲉⲛⲓⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲉⲟⲛ ⲛⲭⲣⲓⲁ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉϣⲧⲉⲙϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ .

    Let our people also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful.

46. 3.15

    ⲥⲉϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲙⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ .
