21.19
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲟⲩⲃⲱ ⲛⲕⲉⲛⲧⲉ ϩⲓⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲉϥϫⲉⲙ ϩⲗⲓ ϩⲓⲱⲧⲥ ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ⲉϩⲁⲛϫⲱⲃⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉⲛⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲓⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϧⲏϯ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲛϫⲉϯⲃⲱ ⲛⲕⲉⲛⲧⲉ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϯⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ .
Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, 'Let there be no fruit from you forever!' Immediately the fig tree withered away.
21.20
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲉⲣϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲡⲱⲥ ⲁⲧⲁⲓⲃⲱ ⲛⲕⲉⲛⲧⲉ ϣⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ .
When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, 'How did the fig tree immediately wither away?'
21.21
ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁϩϯ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲧⲉⲙⲉⲣϩⲏ ⲧⲃ ⲙⲫⲁ ⲧⲁⲓⲃⲱ ⲛⲕⲉⲛⲧⲉ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲁⲓϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛϫⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉϥⲓⲧⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⲉⲥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ
Jesus answered them, 'Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don't doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it would be done.
21.22
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲣⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉϭⲓⲧⲟⲩ .
All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.'
21.23
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲁⲩⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲁⲕⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲁϣ ⲛⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲧⲁϥϯ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲛⲁⲕ .
When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, 'By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?'
21.24
ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉϯⲛⲁϣⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲱ ⲉⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛⲧⲁⲙⲟⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲁⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲁⲓⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲁϣ ⲛⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ .
Jesus answered them, 'I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
21.25
ⲡⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲑⲱⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲫⲉ ⲡⲉ ϣⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲩⲙⲟⲕⲙⲉⲕ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲛϣⲁⲛϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲫⲉ ⲡⲉ ϥⲛⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
The baptism of John, where was it from? From heaven or from men?' They reasoned with themselves, saying, 'If we say, 'From heaven,' he will ask us, 'Why then did you not believe him?'
21.26
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲛϣⲁⲛϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ .
But if we say, 'From men,' we fear the multitude, for all hold John as a prophet.'
21.27
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲁⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲁⲓⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲁϣ ⲛⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ .
They answered Jesus, and said, 'We don't know.' He also said to them, 'Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.
21.28
ⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲉϥ ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲃⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁϥⲓ ϩⲁⲡⲓϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲣⲓϩⲱⲃ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲓⲁϩⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ .
But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, 'Son, go work today in my vineyard.'
21.29
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲁϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ .
He answered, 'I will not,' but afterward he changed his mind, and went.
21.30
ⲁϥⲓ ϩⲁⲡⲓⲙⲁϩⲃ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲟⲛ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲛϯⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲡϧⲁⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲉⲙϩⲑⲏϥ ⲁϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ .
He came to the second, and said the same thing. He answered, 'I go, sir,' but he didn't go.
21.31
ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲃ ⲁϥⲉⲣ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲡⲓϧⲁⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲡⲓⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲡⲟⲣⲛⲟⲥ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .
Which of the two did the will of his father?' They said to him, 'The first.' Jesus said to them, 'Most certainly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into the Kingdom of God before you.
21.32
ⲁϥⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲓⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲡⲟⲣⲛⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲉⲙϩⲑⲏⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲡϧⲁⲉ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn't believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you didn't even repent afterward, that you might believe him.
21.33
ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲕⲉⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⲛⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲛⲉⲃⲓⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲁϥϭⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲓⲁϩⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲕⲧⲟ ⲛⲟⲩϫⲟⲉⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲱⲕ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲣⲱⲧ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲕⲱⲧ ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲩⲣⲅⲟⲥ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲓⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲡϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ .
'Hear another parable. There was a man who was a master of a household, who planted a vineyard, set a hedge about it, dug a winepress in it, built a tower, leased it out to farmers, and went into another country.
21.34
ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥϧⲱⲛⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲉⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ϩⲁⲛⲓⲟⲩⲓⲏ ⲉϭⲓ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ .
When the season for the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the farmers, to receive his fruit.
21.35
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲓⲟⲩⲓⲏ ϭⲓ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲉⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϧⲟⲑⲃϥ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲱⲛⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
The farmers took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.
21.36
ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲟⲛ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲉⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲉⲩⲟϣ ⲉⲛⲓϩⲟⲩⲁϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲛ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ .
Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they treated them the same way.
21.37
ⲉⲡϧⲁⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲥⲉⲛⲁϣⲫⲓⲧ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ .
But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, 'They will respect my son.'
21.38
ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲓⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲕⲗⲏ ⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲙⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϧⲟⲑⲃϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ .
But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him, and seize his inheritance.'
21.39
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϭⲓⲧϥ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧϥ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲓⲓⲁϩⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϧⲟⲑⲃϥ .
So they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.
21.40
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲓⲓⲁϩⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϥⲛⲁⲁⲓϥ ⲛⲛⲓⲟⲩⲓⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ .
When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?'
21.41
ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲛⲓⲕⲁⲕⲱⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲁⲕⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲕⲁⲕⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲓⲁϩⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲟⲩⲓⲏ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϯ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲛⲁϥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ .
They told him, 'He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers, who will give him the fruit in its season.'
21.42
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲱϣ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲅⲣⲁⲫⲏ ϫⲉⲡⲓⲱⲛⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϣⲟϣϥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲕⲱⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϫⲱϫ ⲛⲗⲁⲕϩ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲫⲁⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲟⲓ ⲛϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲛⲃⲁⲗ .
Jesus said to them, 'Did you never read in the Scriptures, 'The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes?'
21.43
ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲩⲉⲟⲗⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉⲧⲏⲓⲥ ⲛⲕⲉⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲉⲥⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ .
'Therefore I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation bringing forth its fruit.
21.44
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϩⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲡⲁⲓⲱⲛⲓ ⲉϥⲉⲗⲁⲥϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲛⲁϩⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲉϥⲉϣⲁϣϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ .
He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but on whoever it will fall, it will scatter him as dust.'
21.45
ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲉⲟⲥ ⲉⲛⲉϥⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⲁⲩⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲁϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧⲟⲩ .
When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke about them.
21.46
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲕⲱϯ ⲉⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲏϣ ϫⲉⲛⲁϥⲭⲏ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ϩⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ .
When they sought to seize him, they feared the multitudes, because they considered him to be a prophet.
22.1
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ .
Jesus answered and spoke again in parables to them, saying,
22.2

'The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,

and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the marriage feast, but they would not come.

ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲟⲛ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲉⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲑⲁϩⲉⲙ ϫⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲁⲁⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲛ ⲁⲓⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧϥ ⲛⲁⲙⲁⲥⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϣⲁⲛⲉⲩϣ ⲥⲉϣⲁⲧ ⲥⲉⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲙⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲓϩⲟⲡ .
Again he sent out other servants, saying, 'Tell those who are invited, 'Behold, I have made ready my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage feast!''
22.5
ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲁⲙⲉⲗⲉⲥ ⲁⲩϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲓⲟϩⲓ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲓⲉⲃϣⲱⲧ .
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise,

ⲡⲥⲉⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲉⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲁⲩϣⲟϣⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϧⲟⲑⲃⲟⲩ .
and the rest grabbed his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.
22.7
ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲧⲣⲁⲧⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲉϥϧⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲟⲩⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲁϥⲣⲟⲕϩⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲭⲣⲱⲙ .
When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
22.8
ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲉⲃⲓⲁⲕ ϫⲉⲡⲓϩⲟⲡ ⲙⲉⲛ ϥⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲑⲁϩⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲩⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ .
'Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding is ready, but those who were invited weren't worthy.
22.9
ⲙⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲛⲓⲙⲁⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϫⲉⲙⲟⲩ ⲑⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲓϩⲟⲡ .
Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the marriage feast.'
22.10
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲉⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲁⲩⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϫⲉⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲙⲟϩ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓϩⲟⲡ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲣⲱⲧⲉⲃ .
Those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests.
22.11
ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲣⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲧϩⲉⲃⲥⲱ ⲙⲡⲓϩⲟⲡ ⲧⲟⲓ ϩⲓⲱⲧϥ ⲁⲛ .
But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who didn't have on wedding clothing,
22.12
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲡⲁϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲡⲱⲥ ⲁⲕⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲙⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲧϩⲉⲃⲥⲱ ⲙⲡⲓϩⲟⲡ ⲧⲟⲓ ϩⲓⲱⲧⲕ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲣⲱϥ ⲑⲱⲙ .
and he said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?' He was speechless.
22.13
ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲛⲓⲇⲓⲁⲕⲱⲛ ϫⲉⲥⲱⲛϩ ⲙⲫⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲣⲁⲧϥ ϩⲓⲧϥ ⲉⲡⲓⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲫⲣⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲥⲑⲉⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲛⲁϫϩⲓ .
Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.'
22.14
ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲩⲑⲁϩⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲛⲓⲥⲱⲧⲡ .
For many are called, but few chosen.'
22.15
ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲩϣⲉ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲉⲣ ⲟⲩⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ϧⲁⲣⲟϥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉϫⲟⲣϫϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ .
Then the Pharisees went and took counsel how they might entrap him in his talk.
22.16
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲏⲣⲱⲇⲓⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲫⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲕϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏ ⲓⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲣⲙⲉⲗⲓⲛ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲁⲛ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲛϩⲗⲓ ⲕϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉϩⲟ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ .
They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, 'Teacher, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter who you teach, for you aren't partial to anyone.
22.17
ⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲕⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲥϣⲉ ⲉϯϩⲱϯ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ϣⲁⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ .
Tell us therefore, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?'
22.18
ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲥⲁⲙⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲱⲛⲧ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲛⲓϣⲟⲃⲓ .
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, 'Why do you test me, you hypocrites?
22.19
ⲙⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟⲓ ⲫⲛⲟⲙⲓⲥⲙⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲕⲏⲛⲥⲟⲥ ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁⲑⲉⲣⲓ .
Show me the tax money.' They brought to him a denarius.
22.20
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲉⲧⲁⲓϩⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲑⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲁⲓⲥϧⲁⲓ .
He asked them, 'Whose is this image and inscription?'
22.21
ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲛⲁⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲉⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .
They said to him, 'Caesar's.' Then he said to them, 'Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.'

ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲣϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲭⲁϥ ⲁⲩϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ .
When they heard it, they marveled, and left him, and went away.
22.23
ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉϩⲁⲛⲥⲁⲇⲇⲟⲩⲕⲉⲟⲥ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲁⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲉⲛϥ
On that day Sadducees (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him,

saying, 'Teacher, Moses said, 'If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed for his brother.'
22.25
ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲍⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲥⲟⲛ ϧⲁⲧⲟⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲓ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛⲧⲉϥ ϫⲣⲟϫ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁϥⲭⲁ ⲧⲉϥⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲛ .
Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no seed left his wife to his brother.

ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲁϩⲃ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲙⲁϩⲅ ϣⲁⲡⲓⲙⲁϩⲍ .
In like manner the second also, and the third, to the seventh.

ⲉⲡϧⲁⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉϯⲕⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ .
After them all, the woman died.

In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her.'

But Jesus answered them, 'You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
22.30
ϧⲉⲛϯⲁⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲡⲁⲩϭⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲁⲩϭⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲉⲣ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲫⲉ .
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God's angels in heaven.

ⲉⲑⲃⲉϯⲁⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲱϣ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϫⲟϥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ .
But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven't you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,

ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲛⲉⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲓⲥⲁⲁⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲁ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲁ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ ⲡⲉ .
'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?' God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.'

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲁⲩⲉⲣϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲉϥⲥⲃⲱ .
When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.

But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, gathered themselves together.

One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him.

ϫⲉⲫⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲁϣ ⲧⲉ ϯⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ .
'Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?'
22.37
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲉⲕⲉⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲕϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲉⲕⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉⲕⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ .
Jesus said to him, ''You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'

ⲑⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ϯⲛⲓϣϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲓϯ ⲛⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ .
This is the first and great commandment.
22.39
ϯⲙⲁϩⲥⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲟⲛⲓ ⲛⲑⲁⲓ ⲉⲕⲉⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲕϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲣⲏϯ .
A second likewise is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'
22.40
ϧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲥⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ .
The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.'

Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,

All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do, but don't do their works; for they say, and don't do.
23.4
ⲥⲉⲙⲟⲩⲣ ⲇⲉ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲉⲧⲫⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲩϩⲟⲣϣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲧⲁⲗⲟ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲛⲁϩⲃⲓ ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲥⲉⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲕⲓⲙ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲧⲏⲃ .
For they bind heavy burdens that are grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not lift a finger to help them.
23.5
ⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲥⲉⲟⲩⲱϣⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲫⲩⲗⲁⲕⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲑⲣⲟ ⲛⲛⲉⲛϣⲧⲁϯ ⲛⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲱⲥ ⲉϣⲓⲁⲓ .
But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries of their garments,

ⲥⲉⲙⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲙⲙⲁⲛⲣⲱⲧⲉⲃ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲙⲙⲁⲛϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲓⲕⲁⲑⲉⲇⲣⲁ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ .
and love the place of honor at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,

ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲁⲥⲡⲁⲥⲙⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲁⲅⲟⲣⲁ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲣⲁⲃⲃⲓ .
the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called 'Rabbi, Rabbi' by men.
23.8
ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲣⲁⲃⲃⲓ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ .
But don't you be called 'Rabbi,' for one is your teacher, the Christ, and all of you are brothers.
23.9
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲃⲉ ⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ .
Call no man on the earth your father, for one is your Father, he who is in heaven.
23.10
ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲥⲁϧ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲁϧ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .
Neither be called masters, for one is your master, the Christ.
23.11
ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲉⲣⲇⲓⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
But he who is greatest among you will be your servant.
23.12
ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϭⲁⲥϥ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟϥ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϭⲁⲥϥ .
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

'Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows' houses, and as a pretense you make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.
23.14

'But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men; for you don't enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter.
23.15
ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ⲛⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲉⲟⲥ ⲛⲓϣⲟⲃⲓ ϫⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲕⲱϯ ⲉⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲧϣⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲣⲟⲥⲩⲗⲓⲧⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲅⲉⲉⲛⲛⲁ ⲉϥⲕⲏⲃ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much of a son of Gehenna as yourselves.
23.16
ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓϭⲁⲩⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲙⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲱⲣⲕ ⲙⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ϩⲗⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲱⲣⲕ ⲙⲡⲓⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
'Woe to you, you blind guides, who say, 'Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.'
23.17
ⲛⲓⲥⲟϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲩⲃ ϣⲁⲛ ⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲉⲧⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲙⲡⲓⲛⲟⲩⲃ .
You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifies the gold?
23.18
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲱⲣⲕ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲁⲛⲉⲣϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ϩⲗⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲱⲣⲕ ⲙⲡⲓⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ϩⲓϫⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .

He who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God, and by him who sits on it.

'Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith. But you ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.

ⲛⲓϭⲁⲩⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲙⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲱϥ ⲛϯϣⲟⲗⲙⲉⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲱⲙⲕ ⲙⲡⲓϭⲁⲙⲟⲩⲗ .
You blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel!
