15.12
ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲕⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲉⲧⲁ ⲛⲓⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲡⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲓⲍⲉⲥⲑⲉ .
Then the disciples came, and said to him, 'Do you know that the Pharisees were offended, when they heard this saying?'
15.13
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉϣϣⲏ ⲛⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ϭⲱⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲕⲟⲣϫⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩⲛⲓ .
But he answered, 'Every plant which my heavenly Father didn't plant will be uprooted.
15.14
ⲭⲁⲩ ϩⲁⲛϭⲁⲩⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲙⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ⲛⲉⲟⲩⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉϥϭⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ϧⲁϫⲱϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ϣⲁⲩϩⲉⲓ ⲉⲟⲩϣⲓⲕ ⲙⲡⲃ .
Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.'
15.15
ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲃⲉⲗ ϯⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ .
Peter answered him, 'Explain the parable to us.'
15.16
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲁⲕⲙⲏⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲁⲧⲕⲁϯ .
So Jesus said, 'Do you also still not understand?
15.17
ⲙⲡⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉϣⲁⲩϣⲉ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲣⲱϥ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϣⲁⲩϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϯⲛⲉϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲟⲩϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲓⲙⲁⲛϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ .
Don't you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and then out of the body?
15.18
ⲛⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲣⲱϥ ⲁⲩⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲱϥ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ .
But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man.
15.19
ⲉϣⲁⲩⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓϩⲏⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲙⲟⲕⲙⲉⲕ ⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲓϧⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲧⲛⲱⲓⲕ ⲛⲓⲡⲟⲣⲛⲉⲓⲁ ⲛⲓϭⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲛⲓϫⲉⲟⲩⲁ .
For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.
15.20
ⲛⲁⲓ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲱϥ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲉϣⲉ ⲛⲓⲁ ⲧⲟⲧⲕ ⲛϥⲥⲱϥ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ .
These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn't defile the man.'
15.21
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲁϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲛⲓⲥⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲥⲓⲇⲱⲛ .
Jesus went out from there, and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.
15.22
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲭⲁⲛⲁⲛⲉⲁ ⲁⲥⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓϭⲓⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲁⲥⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲛⲁⲓ ϧⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⲡⲁϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲧⲁϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲉⲧⲧϩⲉⲙⲕⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲥ .
Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying, 'Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely demonized!'
15.23
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩϯϩⲟ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲭⲁ ⲧⲁⲓⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉⲥⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲥⲁⲙⲉⲛϩⲏⲛ .
But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, 'Send her away; for she cries after us.'
15.24
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟⲓ ϩⲁϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ⲉⲛⲓⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲥⲟⲣⲉⲙ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲏⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲗ .
But he answered, 'I wasn't sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel.'
15.25
ⲛⲑⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲡⲁϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁⲣⲓⲃⲟⲏⲑⲓⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ .
But she came and worshiped him, saying, 'Lord, help me.'
15.26
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲛⲁⲛⲉⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲉⲗ ⲡⲱⲓⲕ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲛⲓⲟⲩϩⲱⲣ .
But he answered, 'It is not appropriate to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs.'
15.27
ⲛⲑⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ϫⲉⲥⲉ ⲡⲁϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲕⲉⲟⲩϩⲱⲣ ⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲗⲉϥⲗⲓϥⲓ ⲛⲏ ⲉϣⲁⲩϩⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϯⲧⲣⲁⲡⲉⲍⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩϭⲓⲥⲉⲩ .
But she said, 'Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.'
15.28
ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉⲱϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉϥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁϣϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲧⲉⲥϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϯⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ .
Then Jesus answered her, 'Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.' And her daughter was healed from that hour.
15.29
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲁϥⲓ ⲉⲥⲕⲉⲛⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲉⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲟⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲡⲉ .
Jesus departed there, and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up into the mountain, and sat there.
15.30
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉϩⲁⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⲙⲙⲏϣ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲛϭⲁⲗⲉⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉⲩ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲕⲟⲩⲣ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛϫⲁϭ ⲉⲩ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲙⲏϣ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲁⲛⲉϥϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲫⲁϧⲣⲓ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ .
Great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them,
15.31
ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲉⲣϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲛⲓⲉⲃⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓϭⲁⲗⲉⲩ ⲉⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉⲩ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲙⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲕⲟⲩⲣ ⲉⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩϯⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲗ .
so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, injured whole, lame walking, and blind seeing--and they glorified the God of Israel.
15.32
ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲃⲉ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏ ⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉϯϣⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ϧⲁⲡⲁⲓⲙⲏϣ ϫⲉⲓⲥ ⲅⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲭⲏ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲟⲩⲟⲙϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲭⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲟⲩⲉϣⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲙ ϫⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲃⲱⲗ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ .
Jesus summoned his disciples and said, 'I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don't want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.'
15.33
ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲛⲁϫⲉⲙ ⲧⲁⲓⲏⲡⲓ ⲛⲱⲓⲕ ⲑⲱⲛ ϩⲓⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁⲛϣⲁϥⲉ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲓ ⲉⲡⲁⲓⲙⲏϣ .
The disciples said to him, 'Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?'
15.34
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲏⲣ ⲛⲱⲓⲕ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲍⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲃⲧ .
Jesus said to them, 'How many loaves do you have?' They said, 'Seven, and a few small fish.'
15.35
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲣⲱⲧⲉⲃ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ .
He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground;
15.36
ⲁϥϭⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲍ ⲛⲱⲓⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲧⲉⲃⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲫⲁϣⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲏ ⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲛⲓⲙⲏϣ .
and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.
15.37
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲥⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲗ ⲡϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲛⲛⲓⲗⲁⲕϩ ⲁⲩⲙⲁϩ ⲍⲙⲃⲓⲣ .
They all ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.
15.38
ⲛⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲛⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣ ⲇⲛϣⲟ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲭⲱⲣⲓⲥ ⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ .
Those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.
15.39
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲭⲁ ⲡⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥⲁⲗⲏ ⲓⲉⲡⲓϫⲟⲉⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲓ ⲉⲛⲓϭⲓⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲙⲁⲅⲇⲁⲗⲁⲛ .
Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.
16.1
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲥⲁⲇⲇⲟⲩⲕⲉⲟⲥ ⲉⲩⲉⲣⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲩϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲧⲁⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲟⲩⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲫⲉ .
The Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing him, asked him to show them a sign from heaven.
16.2
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓ ⲛϫⲉϩⲁⲛⲁⲣⲟⲩϩⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩϫⲁⲙⲏ ⲉⲥⲑⲣⲟϣⲣⲉϣ .
But he answered them, 'When it is evening, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.'
16.3
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲁⲧⲟⲟⲩⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲧⲫⲣⲱ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲓⲑⲣⲟϣⲣⲉϣ ⲛⲧⲫⲉ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲥⲅⲛⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲛⲓϣⲟⲃⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲥⲟⲙⲥ ⲉⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ
In the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but you can't discern the signs of the times!
16.4
ϫⲉⲡⲓϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲛⲱⲓⲕ ϥⲕⲱϯ ⲛⲥⲁⲟⲩⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲧⲏ ⲓϥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲓⲱⲛⲁ ⲡⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏ ⲧⲏⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲭⲁⲩ ⲁϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ .
An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and there will be no sign given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.' He left them, and departed.
16.5
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ ⲉⲙⲏⲣ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲱⲃϣ ⲉϣⲉⲡ ⲱⲓⲕ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ .
The disciples came to the other side and had forgotten to take bread.
16.6
ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁϩⲑⲏⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲡϣⲉⲙⲏⲣ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲉⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲥⲁⲇⲇⲟⲩⲕⲉⲟⲥ .
Jesus said to them, 'Take heed and beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.'

They said, 'Some say John the Baptizer, some, Elijah, and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.'

Jesus answered him, 'Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

I also tell you that you are Peter, will not prevail against it.

I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven; and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.'
16.20
ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁϥϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉϣⲧⲉⲙϫⲟⲥ ⲛϩⲗⲓ ϫⲉⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .
Then he commanded the disciples that they should tell no one that he is Jesus the Christ.

From that time, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.
16.22

Peter took him aside, and began to rebuke him, saying, 'Far be it from you, Lord! This will never be done to you.'
16.23
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲙⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲥⲁⲙⲉⲛϩⲏⲓ ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲟⲛ ⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉⲭⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲛⲁ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲁⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ .
But he turned, and said to Peter, 'Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of men.'
16.24
ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲓ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϫⲟⲗϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲱⲗⲓ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲓ .
Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
16.25
ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲁⲕⲟⲥ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧⲉϥⲉϫⲉⲙⲥ .
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it.
16.26
ⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲁϫⲉⲙϩⲏⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϫⲉⲙϩⲏⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉϥϯⲟⲥⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲧϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ .
For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?
16.27
ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉϥⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲁϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲛⲉϥϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ .
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will render to everyone according to his deeds.
16.28
ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲙⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⲛⲥⲉⲛⲁϫⲉⲙϯⲡⲓ ⲙⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ϣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡϣⲏ ⲣⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥⲉⲓⲱⲧ .
Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste of death, until they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom.'
17.1
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲉⲗ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲛ ⲁϥϭⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲟⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥϭⲟⲥⲓ ⲥⲁⲡⲥⲁ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲟⲩ .
After six days, Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain by themselves.
17.2
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲟⲃⲧϥ ⲛϧⲉⲣⲉⲃ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲙⲑⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲡⲉϥϩⲟ ⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲫⲣⲏ ⲛⲉϥϩⲃⲱⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲃⲁϣ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ .
He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.
17.3
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲟⲛϩⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲗⲓⲁⲥ ⲉⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ .
Behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with him.

ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲉⲡⲁϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲁⲛⲉⲥ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⲭⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛⲅ ⲛⲥⲕⲏⲛⲏ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲏⲗⲓⲁⲥ .
Peter answered, and said to Jesus, 'Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, let's make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.'

ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲉϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲓⲥ ⲟⲩϭⲏⲡⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲁⲥⲉⲣϧⲏⲓⲃⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲥⲙⲏ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛϯϭⲏⲡⲓ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲡⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲧⲁⲯⲩⲭⲏ ϯⲙⲁϯ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲥⲱϥ .
While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, 'This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.'
17.6
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩϩⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲡⲟⲩϩⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ .
When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.
17.7
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲁϥϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣϩⲟϯ .
Jesus came and touched them and said, 'Get up, and don't be afraid.'
17.8
ⲉⲧⲁⲩϥⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲃⲁⲗ ⲉⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ .
Lifting up their eyes, they saw no one, except Jesus alone.
17.9
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲙⲡⲉⲣⲧⲁⲙⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲡⲓϩⲟⲣⲁⲙⲁ ϣⲁⲧⲉ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲧⲱⲛϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ .
As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, 'Don't tell anyone what you saw, until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.'
17.10
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲉⲛϥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ⲥⲉϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲏⲗⲓⲁⲥ ⲡⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ .
His disciples asked him, saying, 'Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?'
17.11
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲏⲗⲓⲁⲥ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲛⲁⲧⲁⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ .
Jesus answered them, 'Elijah indeed comes first, and will restore all things,
17.12
ϯϫⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲏⲗⲓⲁⲥ ϩⲏⲇⲏ ⲁϥⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲩⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱϥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϥⲛⲁϣⲉⲡ ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ .
but I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they didn't recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted to. Even so the Son of Man will also suffer by them.'
17.13
ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲕⲁϯ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϯⲱⲙⲥ .
Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them of John the Baptizer.
17.14
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲓ ϩⲁⲡⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲁϥⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϥϩⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲉϥⲕⲉⲗⲓ
When they came to the multitude, a man came to him, kneeling down to him, saying,
17.15
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲛⲁⲓ ϧⲁⲡⲁϣⲏ ⲣⲓ ϫⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲧϩⲉⲙⲕⲏ ⲟⲩⲧ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ϣⲁϥϩⲉⲓ ⲉⲡⲓⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ϣⲁϥϩⲉⲓ ⲉⲫⲙⲱⲟⲩ .
'Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic, and suffers grievously; for he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.
17.16
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲉⲛϥ ⲉⲛⲉⲕⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϣϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲉⲣⲫⲁϧⲣⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
So I brought him to your disciples, and they could not cure him.'
17.17
ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲱⲡⲓϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲧⲛⲁϩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲫⲟⲛϩ ϣⲁⲧⲛⲁⲩ ϯⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϣⲁⲧⲛⲁⲩ ϯⲛⲁⲱⲟⲩⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛⲓⲧϥ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉⲙⲛⲁⲓ .
Jesus answered, 'Faithless and perverse generation! How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Bring him here to me.'
17.18
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲧⲓⲙⲁⲛ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲓϧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϯⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ .
Jesus rebuked him, the demon went out of him, and the boy was cured from that hour.
17.19
ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϩⲁⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲥⲁⲡⲥⲁ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲛϣϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⲛϩⲓⲧϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ .
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said, 'Why weren't we able to cast it out?'
17.20
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁϩϯ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲁⲫⲣⲓ ⲛϣⲉⲗⲧⲁⲙ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉϫⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲛⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ .
He said to them, 'Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
17.21
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲓⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲁϥⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲛⲏⲥⲧⲓⲁ
But this kind doesn't go out except by prayer and fasting.'
17.22
ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲕⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϯⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲉⲁ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲏ ⲓϥ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ .
While they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, 'The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men,
17.23
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϧⲟⲑⲃϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁⲅⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲱⲛϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ .
and they will kill him, and the third day he will be raised up.' They were exceedingly sorry.
17.24
ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲕⲁⲫⲁⲣⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲁⲩⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϭⲓⲕⲓϯ ϩⲁⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ϥϯⲕⲓϯ ⲁⲛ .
When they had come to Capernaum, those who collected the didrachma coins came to Peter, and said, 'Doesn't your teacher pay the didrachma?'
17.25
ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲥⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲓⲏⲓ ⲁⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲕⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲉⲩϭⲓⲧⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲙ ⲓⲉ ⲕⲏⲛⲥⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ϣⲁⲛ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲉⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲉⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ .
He said, 'Yes.' When he came into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, 'What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth receive toll or tribute? From their children, or from strangers?'
17.26
ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲉⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲉϩⲁⲣⲁ ⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲉⲙϩⲉⲩ ⲛⲉ .
Peter said to him, 'From strangers.' Jesus said to him, 'Therefore the children are exempt.
17.27
ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲧⲉⲙⲉⲣⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲓⲍⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲫⲓⲟⲙ ϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲱⲓⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲧⲉⲃⲧ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲁⲗⲓⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲕϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛⲣⲱϥ ⲉⲕⲉϫⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁⲑⲉⲣⲓ ⲁⲗⲓⲧⲥ ⲙⲏⲓⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϫⲱⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲕ .
But, lest we cause them to stumble, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take up the first fish that comes up. When you have opened its mouth, you will find a stater coin. Take that, and give it to them for me and you.'
18.1
ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛϯⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϩⲁⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲁⲣⲁ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ϧⲉⲛϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ .
In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, 'Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?'
18.2
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲟⲩⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲧⲁϩⲟϥ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲟⲩϩⲙⲏϯ .
Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the midst of them,
18.3
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲧⲉⲙⲕⲉⲧ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ .
and said, 'Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
18.4
ⲫⲏ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟϥ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ϧⲉⲛϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ .
Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
18.5
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲉⲡ ⲟⲩⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϥϣⲱⲡ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ .
Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me,
18.6
ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲉⲣⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲓⲍⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲓⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲥⲉⲣⲛⲟϥⲣⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲉϣ ⲟⲩⲱⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲩⲗⲟⲛ ⲉϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲟⲙⲥϥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲟⲙ .
but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea.
18.7
ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲓⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲟⲛ ⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲟⲛ ⲡⲗⲏⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲟⲛ ⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ .
'Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! For it must be that the occasions come, but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes!
18.8
ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⲓⲉ ⲧⲉⲕϭⲁⲗⲟϫ ⲉⲣⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲓⲍⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ϫⲟϫⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲕ ⲛⲁⲛⲉⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲓⲱⲛϧ ⲉⲕⲟⲓ ⲛϭⲁⲗⲉ ⲓⲉ ⲉⲕⲟⲓ ⲛϫⲁϭⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϫⲓϫ ⲥⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲓⲉ ϭⲁⲗⲟϫ ⲥⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲥⲉϩⲓⲧⲕ ⲉⲡⲓⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ .
If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire.
18.9
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲃⲁⲗ ⲛⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲉⲣⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲓⲍⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲫⲟⲣⲕϥ ϩⲓⲧⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲕ ⲛⲁⲛⲉⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲓⲱⲛϧ ⲉⲟⲩⲃⲁⲗ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲓⲉ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲃⲁⲗ ⲃⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲛⲥⲉϩⲓⲧⲕ ⲉϯⲅⲉⲉⲛⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲭⲣⲱⲙ .
If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire.
18.10
ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲟⲛⲓⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲓⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ϯϫⲱ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡϩⲟ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ .
See that you don't despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.
18.11
ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁϥⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲕⲱϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ
For the Son of Man came to save that which was lost.
18.12
ⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲣⲛⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲙⲏ ⲙⲡⲁϥⲭⲁ ⲡⲓϥⲑ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲕⲱϯ ⲛⲥⲁⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ .
'What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn't he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?
18.13
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥϣⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥϫⲉⲙϥ ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉϣⲁϥⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲙⲁⲗⲗⲟⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲓϥⲑ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲉⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⲁⲛ .
If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.
18.14
ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲫⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲓⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲧⲁⲕⲟ .
Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
18.15
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉⲕⲥⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲙⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲁϩⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲧⲱⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲕ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲥⲱⲕ ⲉⲕⲉϫⲉⲙϩⲏⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲥⲟⲛ .
'If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.
18.16
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲧⲉⲙⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲥⲱⲕ ϭⲓ ⲛⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲓⲉ ⲕⲉⲃ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲕ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲣⲱϥ ⲙⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲃⲓⲉ ⲅⲛⲧⲉ ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ .
But if he doesn't listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
18.17
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲧⲉⲙⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲧⲉⲙⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲥⲁϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲉϥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲕ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲑⲛⲓⲕⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲏⲥ .
If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.
