ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲑⲟ ⲛⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲛⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϩⲏ ⲁⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ .
God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,

ⲉⲡϧⲁⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲁⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲭⲁϥ ⲛⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲁϥⲑⲁⲙⲓⲉ ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ
has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.

ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲟⲩⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉϥϩⲩⲡⲟⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲉϥϥⲁⲓ ϧⲁⲡⲧⲏⲣϥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉϥϫⲟⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲁϥⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲁϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲛϯⲙⲉⲧⲛⲓϣϯ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϭⲟⲥⲓ .
His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

ⲉⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲙⲁⲓⲏ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣⲓⲃϯ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ .
having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have.

ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲧⲛⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓϫⲫⲟⲕ ⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲓⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲩⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲉϥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ .
For to which of the angels did he say at any time, 'You are my Son. Today have I become your father?'

ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲡⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲙⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϯⲟⲓⲕⲟⲩⲙⲉⲛⲏ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .
Again, when he brings in the firstborn into the world he says, 'Let all the angels of God worship him.'

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉϥⲣⲉϥϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲁϩ ⲛⲭⲣⲱⲙ .
Of the angels he says, 'Who makes his angels winds, and his servants a flame of fire.'

ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲇⲉ ϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲡⲉⲕⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡϣⲃⲱⲧ ⲙⲡⲥⲱⲟⲩⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡϣⲃⲱⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲕⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ .
But of the Son he says, 'Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your Kingdom.

ϫⲉⲁⲕⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲕⲙⲉⲥⲧⲉ ⲧⲟϫⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲁϥⲑⲁϩⲥⲕ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲑⲉⲗⲏⲗ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϧⲁⲑⲟⲩⲱⲕ .
You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.'
1.10
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϩⲏ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲕϩⲓⲥⲉⲛϯ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⲛⲉⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ .
And, 'You, Lord, in the beginning, laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the works of your hands.
1.11
ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲕϣⲟⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲉⲣⲁⲡⲁⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲟⲥ .
They will perish, but you continue. They all will grow old like a garment does.
1.12
ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣϣⲱⲛ ⲭⲛⲁⲕⲟⲗⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϣⲓⲃϯ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲕⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ .
As a mantle, you will roll them up, and they will be changed; but you are the same. Your years will not fail.'

ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲧⲛⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϫⲉϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ϣⲁϯⲭⲁ ⲛⲉⲕϫⲁϫⲓ ⲥⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲛⲛⲉⲕϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ .
But which of the angels has he told at any time, 'Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet?'
1.14
ⲙⲏ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲛⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛⲣⲉϥⲫⲱϣⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉⲉⲩⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲇⲓⲁⲕⲱⲛⲓⲁ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲉⲣⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ .
Aren't they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
2.1
ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲥϣⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϯϩⲑⲏⲛ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲛⲥⲟⲑⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲏⲡⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲣⲓⲕⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ .
Therefore we ought to pay greater attention to the things that were heard, lest perhaps we drift away.
2.2
ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥⲧⲁϫⲣⲏ ⲟⲩⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲩϭⲓ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲉⲃⲓⲉ ⲃⲉⲭⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲡ ⲉϥⲙⲡϣⲁ .
For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense;

ⲡⲱⲥ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉⲣⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛϣⲁⲛⲉⲣⲁⲙⲉⲗⲉⲥ ⲉⲡⲁⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ϧⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲛ .
how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation--which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard;

ⲉⲣⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲙⲏ ⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲟⲩⲑⲟ ⲛⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲧⲟⲓ ⲙⲫⲱϣ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁϥ .
God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?

ⲛⲉⲧⲁϥⲑⲣⲉ ϯⲟⲓⲕⲟⲩⲙⲉⲛⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲥ ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲑⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧⲥ .
For he didn't subject the world to come, of which we speak, to angels.

ⲁϥⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲁⲕⲉⲣⲡⲉϥⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲓⲉ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲁⲕϫⲉⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲓⲛⲓ .
But one has somewhere testified, saying, 'What is man, that you think of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him?
2.7
ⲁⲕⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲁⲕⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲭⲗⲟⲙ ⲉϫⲱϥ .
You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor.

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲕⲧⲁϩⲟϥ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲓϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⲁⲕⲑⲣⲉ ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲥⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲛⲛⲉϥϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲑⲣⲉ ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ⲓⲉ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲭⲁ ϩⲗⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲉϣⲉ ⲛϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲁⲧⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲁⲩϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ .
You have put all things in subjection under his feet.' For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don't see all things subjected to him, yet.

ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲓⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲉⲣ ⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲭⲗⲟⲙ ⲉϫⲱϥ ϩⲟⲡⲱⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲧⲉϥϫⲉⲙϯ ⲡⲓ ⲙⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ .
But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone.

ⲛⲁⲥⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁϥ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲉⲁϥⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲁⲣⲭⲏⲅⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲟⲩⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲙⲕⲁⲩϩ .
For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
2.11
ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ϥϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲉϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ
For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers,

ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉϯⲛⲁϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ ⲛⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏ ⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲙⲏϯ ⲛϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ϯⲛⲁⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ .
saying, 'I will declare your name to my brothers. In the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise.'

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲛ ϫⲉⲉⲓⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉϩⲑⲏⲓ ⲭⲏ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲛ ϫⲉϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲁⲗⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲏⲓ .
Again, 'I will put my trust in him.'

ⲉⲡⲓⲇⲏ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛⲓⲁⲗⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲣϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲛⲥⲛⲟϥ ϩⲓⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ϩⲱϥ ⲁϥⲉⲣϣⲫⲏ ⲣⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲕⲱⲣϥ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲡⲁⲙⲁϩⲓ ⲙⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲭⲏ ⲛⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲇⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ .
Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲧⲁⲗϭⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉϧⲉⲛϯϩⲟϯ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲩⲣⲁⲟⲩⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲃⲱⲕ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛⲱⲛϧ .
and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

ⲛⲉⲧⲁϥϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉϩⲁⲛⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲡϫⲣⲟϫ ⲛⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲡⲉⲧⲁϥϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
For most certainly, he doesn't give help to angels, but he gives help to the seed of Abraham.
2.17
ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲏⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲛϩⲟⲧ ϩⲁⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥⲭⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲓⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ .
Therefore he was obligated in all things to be made like his brothers, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.
2.18
ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲓⲙⲕⲁⲩϩ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲉⲣⲃⲟⲏⲑⲓⲛ ⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲉⲣⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ .
For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.

ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛϣⲫⲏ ⲣⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲑⲱϩⲉⲙ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲫⲉ ⲙⲁⲓⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲓⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲏⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ .
Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus;

ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲟⲧ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱϥ ⲙⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ .
who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.

ⲁⲫⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲏⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟϥ .
For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who built the house has more honor than the house.

ⲏⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉϣⲁⲩⲥⲉⲃⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲑⲁⲙⲓⲉ ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉ .
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲙⲉⲛ ϥⲉⲛϩⲟⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲩⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ .
Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,

ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲛϣⲁⲛⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉϯϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲉϥⲧⲁϫⲣⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϣⲁⲉⲃⲟⲗ .
but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.

ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϫⲉⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲥⲙⲏ
Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, 'Today if you will hear his voice,

ⲙⲡⲉⲣϯⲛϣⲱⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲡⲓⲣⲁⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ϩⲓⲡϣⲁϥⲉ
don't harden your hearts, as in the provocation, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,

ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϭⲱⲛⲧ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲛⲁϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ
where your fathers tested me by proving me, and saw my works for forty years.

ⲛⲙ ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲓⲙⲉⲥⲧⲉ ⲡⲓϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲥⲉⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲙⲱⲓⲧ
Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, 'They always err in their heart, but they didn't know my ways;'

ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲱⲣⲕ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁϫⲱⲛⲧ ϫⲉⲁⲛ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲁⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ .
as I swore in my wrath, 'They will not enter into my rest.''

ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲙⲏⲡⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲉϥϩⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲑⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ .
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
3.13
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙⲁⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲏⲛⲓ ϣⲁⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉⲫⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϣⲧⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲛϣⲱⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁⲡⲁⲧⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ .
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called 'today;' lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:

ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲁⲩϯϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲭⲏⲙⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ .
For who, when they heard, rebelled? No, didn't all those who came out of Egypt by Moses?

ⲛⲓⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥϩⲣⲟϣ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲙⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲙⲏ ⲛⲏ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲉⲗⲓ ϩⲉⲓ ϩⲓⲡϣⲁϥⲉ .
With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn't it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
3.18
ⲛⲓⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲱⲣⲕ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϣⲧⲉⲙⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲙⲏ ⲛⲏ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲁⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ .
To whom did he swear that they wouldn't enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
3.19
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩϣϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲑⲛⲁϩϯ .
We see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
4.1
ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲏⲡⲟⲧⲉ ⲉⲁⲩⲥⲱϫⲡ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲁ ⲉⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲉⲣϧⲁⲉ .
Let us fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.

ⲁⲩϩⲓϣⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲛ ϩⲱⲛ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲉⲣϩⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ϫⲉⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲑⲏⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲛⲁϩϯ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ .
For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn't profit them, because it wasn't mixed with faith by those who heard.

ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ϧⲁⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲱⲣⲕ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁϫⲱⲛⲧ ϫⲉⲁⲛ ⲉⲩⲉϣⲉ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲁⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲕⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⲛⲓϩⲃⲏ ⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲕⲁⲧⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ .
For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, 'As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;' although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲓⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁϩⲍ ⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲁϥⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲙⲁϩⲍ ⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ .
For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, 'God rested on the seventh day from all his works;'

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲛ ϫⲉⲁⲛ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲁⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ
and in this place again, 'They will not enter into my rest.'

ⲉⲡⲓⲇⲏ ⲟⲩⲛ ϥⲥⲱϫⲡ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϩⲓϣⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϣⲉ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲑⲛⲁϩϯ .
Seeing therefore it remains that some should enter therein, and they to whom the good news was before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience,

ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ϥⲑⲱϣ ⲛⲟⲩⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲙⲁⲓⲏ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϣⲟⲣⲡ ϫⲉⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲥⲙⲏ ⲙⲡⲉⲣϯⲉⲛϣⲟⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ .
he again defines a certain day, today, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), 'Today if you will hear his voice, don't harden your hearts.'

ⲉⲛⲉⲁ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲑⲣⲟⲩⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲕⲉⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁⲛⲁⲓ .
For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.

ϩⲁⲣⲁ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲓⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲥⲱϫⲡ ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .
There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
4.10
ⲫⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ϩⲱϥ ⲁϥⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩϥ .
For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
4.11
ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲉⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϣⲧⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϩⲉⲓ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲓⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ .
Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.

ϥⲉⲛϩⲟⲧ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥϣⲱⲧ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲥⲏϥⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲣⲟ ⲃⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲛⲁ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ϣⲁⲡⲓⲫⲱϣ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓϩⲱⲧⲡ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲁⲧⲕⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲟⲓ ⲛϧⲟⲧϧⲉⲧ ⲛⲥⲁⲛⲓⲙⲟⲕⲙⲉⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧ .
For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
4.13
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϩⲗⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲛⲧ ϩⲏⲡ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲙⲑⲟ ⲥⲉⲃⲏϣ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⲛϫⲁⲣⲁⲃ ⲛⲁϩⲃⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲙⲑⲟ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲫⲉϩ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
4.14
ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲉⲁϥⲥⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
Having then a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold tightly to our confession.

ⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲏⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲡ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉϭⲓ ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉⲛϣⲱⲛⲓ ⲉⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲉⲛⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲁϭⲛⲉ ⲛⲟⲃⲓ .
For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
4.16
ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲉⲙⲑⲟ ⲙⲡⲓⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓϩⲙⲟⲧ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϫⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲉⲩⲉⲩⲕⲉⲣⲓⲁ ⲙⲃⲟⲏⲑⲓⲁ .
Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
5.1
ⲁⲣⲭⲏⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲩϭⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϣⲁⲩⲧⲁϩⲟϥ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲉⲛ ⲇⲱⲣⲟⲛ ⲛⲉⲙϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲓⲛⲟⲃⲓ .
For every high priest, being taken from among men, is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.
5.2
ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉϣⲉⲡⲙⲕⲁϩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲁⲧⲉⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ϫⲉⲛⲑⲟϥ ϩⲱϥ ϥⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϣⲱⲛⲓ .
The high priest can deal gently with those who are ignorant and going astray, because he himself is also surrounded with weakness.
5.3
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧϥ ⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲁϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉϣⲁϥⲓⲛⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲁⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱϥ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲓⲛⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲉϥⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲙⲙⲓⲛⲙⲙⲟϥ .
Because of this, he must offer sacrifices for sins for the people, as well as for himself.
5.4
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲁⲣⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϭⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲙⲡⲓⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁϥⲑⲱϩⲉⲙ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲁⲁⲣⲱⲛ .
Nobody takes this honor on himself, but he is called by God, just like Aaron was.
5.5
ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱϥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲧⲁϥϯⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲏⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲏ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ϫⲉⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓϫⲫⲟⲕ ⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ .
So also Christ didn't glorify himself to be made a high priest, but it was he who said to him, 'You are my Son. Today I have become your father.'
5.6
ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲕⲉⲙⲁ ϫⲉⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲟⲩⲏⲃ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲧⲧⲁⲝⲓⲥ ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲭⲓⲥⲉⲇⲉⲕ .
As he says also in another place, 'You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.'
5.7
ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓⲛⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉϥⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛϯϩⲟ ϩⲁⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲛⲁϩⲙⲉϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩϧⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥϫⲟⲣ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲉⲣⲙⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲁϥⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧϩⲟϯ .
He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,

ⲕⲉⲡⲉⲣ ⲉⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲙⲓ ⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲙⲕⲁⲩϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲓⲧⲟⲩ .
though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered.

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲗⲱⲓϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ .
Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation,

named by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.

ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲙⲟⲕϩ ⲛⲟⲩⲁϩⲙⲉϥ ϫⲉⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ .
About him we have many words to say, and hard to interpret, seeing you have become dull of hearing.

ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲥⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲉⲣⲣⲉϥϯ ⲥⲃⲱ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲓⲭⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲟⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲛⲓⲥⲧⲟⲓⲭⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲱϯ ⲛⲟⲩϧⲣⲉ ⲉⲥϫⲟⲣ ⲁⲛ .
For when by reason of the time you ought to be teachers, you again need to have someone teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God. You have come to need milk, and not solid food.
5.13
ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲉⲙ ⲉⲣⲱϯ ⲛϥϧⲉⲧϧⲱⲧ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ .
For everyone who lives on milk is not experienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby.
5.14
ϯϧⲣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧϫⲟⲣ ⲑⲁ ⲛⲓⲧⲉⲗⲓⲟⲥ ⲧⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲉⲑⲃⲉⲧⲟⲩϩⲉⲝⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲥⲑⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲩϧⲉⲧϧⲱⲧ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲉⲙⲓ ⲉⲡϣⲓⲃϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ .
But solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
6.1
ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲁⲛⲭⲱ ⲛⲥⲱⲛ ⲙⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲓ ⲉⲡⲓϫⲱⲕ ⲛⲥⲉⲣⲱϧⲧ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲩⲥⲉⲛϯ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲛⲟⲓⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁϩⲁⲛϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲩⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .
Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on to perfection--not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God,
6.2
ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛϭⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲭⲁϫⲓϫ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲕⲣⲓⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ .
of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
6.3
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲁⲓϥ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ .
This will we do, if God permits.
6.4
ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧϫⲟⲙ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϭ ⲓⲙⲫⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲉⲁⲩϫⲉⲙϯⲡⲓ ⲛⲇⲱⲣⲉⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲉⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ
For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,
6.5
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϫⲉⲙϯⲡⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ .
and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come,

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲥⲉϩⲉⲓ ⲛⲥⲉⲉⲣⲃⲉⲣⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲛⲟⲓⲁ ⲉⲩⲓϣⲓ ⲙⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲕⲉⲥⲟⲡ ⲥⲉⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲥⲣⲁϩ .
and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame.

ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲥⲱ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲟⲩⲛϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲛⲏ ⲟⲩ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ⲉϥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲓⲙ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲓⲉⲫⲟⲩⲱⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧⲟⲩ ϣⲁϥϭⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .
For the land which has drunk the rain that comes often on it, and brings forth a crop suitable for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receives blessing from God;

ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓⲛⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲁⲛϣⲟⲛϯ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲥⲟⲩⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲁⲧϣⲁⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥϧⲉⲛⲧ ⲉⲡⲥⲁϩⲟⲩⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉϥϧⲁⲉ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲡⲣⲟⲕϩϥ .
but if it bears thorns and thistles, it is rejected and near being cursed, whose end is to be burned.
6.9
ⲡⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲑⲏⲧ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲁϯ ϧⲁⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲧ ⲉⲡⲓⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲡⲕⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ .
But, beloved, we are persuaded of better things for you, and things that accompany salvation, even though we speak like this.
6.10
ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲉϥϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϫⲉⲛⲧⲉϥⲉⲣⲡⲱⲃϣ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲉⲙⲡϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛϩⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲉⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϩⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⲟⲛ .
For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.
6.11
ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲥⲡⲟⲩⲇⲏ ϧⲉⲛⲡϫⲱⲕ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲁⲓϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ϣⲁϧⲁⲉ .
We desire that each one of you may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end,

ϩⲓⲛⲁ ϫⲉⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲛⲓ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲕⲗⲏ ⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲛ ⲛⲛⲓⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ⲛⲉⲙϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲏⲧ .
that you won't be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherited the promises.
6.13
ⲉⲧⲁ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲱϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲉⲡⲓⲇⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉϥϭⲟⲥⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥⲱⲣⲕ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲁϥⲱⲣⲕ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲙⲙⲓⲛⲙⲙⲟϥ
For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he could swear by none greater, he swore by himself,
6.14
ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲥⲙⲟⲩ ϯⲛⲁⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁϣⲁⲓ ϯⲛⲁⲑⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲕϫⲣⲟϫ ⲁϣⲁⲓ .
saying, 'Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.'
6.15
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲁ ⲧⲟⲧϥ ϣⲁϣⲛⲓ ⲉⲡⲓⲱϣ .
Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
6.16
ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ϣⲁⲩⲱⲣⲕ ⲛⲁϩⲣⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡϫⲱⲕ ⲛⲁⲛⲧⲓⲗⲟⲅⲓⲁ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲛⲁϣ .
For men indeed swear by a greater one, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.
6.17
ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲁⲓ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲉⲣⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲧⲁⲙⲉ ⲛⲓⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲱϣ ⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲙⲉⲥⲓⲧⲏ ⲥϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁϣ
In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;
6.18
ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲃⲛⲁⲑⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϫⲉⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲭⲱ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲉⲥϫⲟⲣ ϧⲁⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲫⲱⲧ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲛϯϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ⲛⲁϩⲣⲁⲛ .
that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.
6.19
ⲑⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲩϫⲁⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧϣⲟϥⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲧⲁϫⲣⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲛⲁ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ϣⲁⲛⲉⲧⲥⲁϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲉⲧⲁⲥⲙⲁ .
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
