1. 1.1

   ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁϥ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲓⲙⲟⲑⲉⲟⲥ ⲡⲓⲥⲟⲛ .

   Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

2. 1.2

   ⲛⲛⲓϩⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲕⲟⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲧϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .

   to the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3. 1.3

   ⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲛϭ ⲥⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲧⲱⲃϩ

   We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

4. 1.4

   ⲉⲁⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲓϩⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ .

   having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which you have toward all the saints,

   ⲉⲑⲃⲉϯϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ϧⲁϫⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲑⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲛⲥⲟⲑⲙⲉⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ .

   because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Good News,

   ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲉϥϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲉϥϯⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲁⲓⲁⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ⲡⲓϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ .

   which has come to you; even as it is in all the world and is bearing fruit and growing, as it does in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

   ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲉⲡⲁⲫⲣⲁ ⲡⲓⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧ ⲛϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲟⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲇⲓⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ .

   even as you learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf,

   ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ .

   who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

   ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϩⲱⲛ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲁⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲭⲱ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲛⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲛⲉⲣⲉⲧⲓⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁϥ ϧⲉⲛⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲕⲁϯ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲙⲡⲛⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ .

   For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don't cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

    ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲓⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉⲙⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .

    that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11. 1.11

    ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ϧⲉⲛϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲁⲙⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛϩⲩⲡⲟⲙⲟⲛⲏ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲣⲁϣⲓ .

    strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy;

12. 1.12

    ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲑⲣⲉⲛⲉⲣⲡⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϯⲧⲟⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓϩⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ .

    giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;

13. 1.13

    ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲡⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲕⲁⲕⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲑⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉϥⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ .

    who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;

14. 1.14

    ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲛϭⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲱϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲡⲓⲭⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲉⲛⲛⲟⲃⲓ .

    in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins;

15. 1.15

    ⲉⲧⲉⲧϩⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲑⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲙⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ .

    who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

16. 1.16

    ϫⲉⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲧϭ ⲥⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲟⲛⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .

    For by him all things were created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and for him.

17. 1.17

    ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϧⲁϫⲱϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲩⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ .

    He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.

18. 1.18

    ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲁⲫⲉ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ϯⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲙⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ .

    He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19. 1.19

    ϫⲉⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲁϥϯⲙⲁϯ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲙⲟϩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ .

    For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him;

    ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲉϩⲱⲧⲡ ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲁϥⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥⲥⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ .

    and through him to reconcile all things to himself, by him, whether things on the earth, or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.

21. 1.21

    ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛϫⲁϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲩⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ .

    You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works,

22. 1.22

    ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϩⲉⲧⲡ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉϥⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲁϩⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧⲁϭⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲧⲁⲣⲓⲕⲓ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲙⲑⲟ .

    yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and blameless before him,

    ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲟⲡ ⲙⲡⲓⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁϫⲣⲏ ⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲥⲉⲛϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲟⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧⲕⲓⲙ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁϯϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲟⲑⲙⲉϥ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲛⲧⲫⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲓϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲇⲓⲁⲕⲱⲛ .

    if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven; of which I, Paul, was made a servant.

    ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ϯⲣⲁϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲙⲕⲁⲩϩ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯϫⲱⲕ ⲛⲛⲓϭⲣⲟϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲛⲓϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲉϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏ ⲥⲓⲁ ⲧⲉ .

    Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the assembly;

    ⲑⲁⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲁⲓϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲛⲇⲓⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁϯⲟⲓⲕⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲧⲧⲟⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉϫⲱⲕ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ .

    of which I was made a servant, according to the stewardship of God which was given me toward you, to fulfill the word of God,

    ⲡⲓⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲧϩⲏⲡ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲅⲉⲛⲉⲁ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲓϩⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲁϥ .

    the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints,

    ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲧⲁⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲁϣ ⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲁⲓⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϯϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲱⲟⲩ .

    to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

    ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲛⲧⲥⲁⲃⲟ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲛϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁϩⲉ ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲉⲩϫⲏⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .

    whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;

    ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉϯϭⲓϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲉⲓⲉⲣⲁⲅⲱⲛⲓⲍⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲉϥⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲟⲙ .

    for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.

    ϯⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲁⲅⲱⲛ ⲛⲁϣ ⲙⲙⲁⲓⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲏⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲗⲁⲟⲇⲓⲕⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲁϩⲟ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ .

    For I desire to have you know how greatly I struggle for you, and for those at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;

    ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉϫⲉⲙⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲩⲧⲥⲁⲃⲏ ⲟⲩⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲓⲟⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲙⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥⲕⲁϯ ⲉⲡⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .

    that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,

    ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲁϩⲱⲣ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲉⲙⲓ ⲉⲧϩⲏⲡ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ .

    in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden.

    ⲫⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϣⲧⲉⲙ ϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲣϩⲁⲗ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩ .

    Now this I say that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.

    ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ϯⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲉⲓⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲝⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .

    For though I am absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, rejoicing and seeing your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.

    ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲓ ⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ

    As therefore you received Christ Jesus, the Lord, walk in him,

    ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲕⲱⲧ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁϫⲣⲏ ⲟⲩⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲛⲁϩϯ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϣⲉⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ .

    rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it in thanksgiving.

    ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲏⲡⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲕⲱⲗⲡ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲫⲓⲗⲟⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲁⲡⲁⲧⲏ ⲉⲥϣⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲛⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲛⲓⲥⲧⲟⲓⲭⲓⲱⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲁⲛ .

    Be careful that you don't let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ.

38. 2.9

    ϫⲉⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ϥϣⲟⲡ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲙⲟϩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲥⲱⲙⲁⲧⲓⲕⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ .

    For in him all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily,

    ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲁⲫⲉ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ .

    and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power;

    in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;

    ⲉⲁⲩⲕⲉⲥ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲛⲁϩϯ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ .

    having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

    ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲡⲧⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙϯⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲥⲉⲃⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲛϧⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲉⲁϥⲭⲱ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲡⲧⲱⲙⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ .

    You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

    ⲉⲁϥⲥⲱⲗϫ ⲙⲡⲓⲥϧⲓ ⲛϫⲓϫ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲁϥⲧⲟⲓ ϧⲁⲣⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲇⲟⲅⲙⲁ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲛⲁϥϯⲟⲩⲃⲏⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲁϥⲟⲗϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲙⲏϯ ⲉⲁϥϯⲓϥⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲥ .

    wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross;

    ⲉⲁϥⲃⲁϣϥ ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲉⲁϥϯ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲥⲱⲓⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲁϥⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲣⲁϩ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ .

    having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

    ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲥⲱ ⲓⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲧⲟⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩϣⲁⲓ ⲓⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲓⲉ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ .

    Let no man therefore judge you in eating, or in drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day,

    ⲉⲧⲉⲧϧⲏⲓⲃⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲉⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ

    which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ's.

47. 2.18

    ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ϭⲣⲟ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥϩⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥϭⲟⲥⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ϩⲓⲕⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉϥⲥⲁⲣⲝ .

    Let no one rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshipping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

48. 2.19

    ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲛϯⲁⲫⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲙⲟϯ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲥⲛⲁⲩϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩϫⲫⲟ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϥⲛⲁⲁⲓⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲁⲓⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .

    and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God's growth.

49. 2.20

    ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲛⲓⲥⲧⲟⲓⲭⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲁϧⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲱⲡ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲩⲱⲛϧ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ .

    If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances,

    ⲙⲡⲉⲣϭⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲣϭⲓϯⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲣϧⲱⲛⲧ .

    'Don't handle, nor taste, nor touch'

51. 2.22

    ⲉϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ⲉⲡⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲉϣⲧⲉⲙⲉⲣⲭ ⲣⲁⲥⲑⲉ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲛⲓϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ .

    (all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?

    ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲥⲃⲱ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧϯ ⲁⲥⲟ ⲉⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲥⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ .

    Which things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, and humility, and severity to the body; but aren't of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

53. 3.1

    ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲕⲱϯ ⲛⲥⲁⲛⲁ ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .

    If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.

54. 3.2

    ⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲛⲁ ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲁⲛ .

    Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.

55. 3.3

    ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲱⲛϧ ϩⲏⲡ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .

    For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

56. 3.4

    ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲱⲛϧ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ .

    When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.

57. 3.5

    ϧⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ϯⲡⲟⲣⲛⲉⲓⲁ ⲡⲓϭⲱϧⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲑⲟⲥ ϯⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ ⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲉⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲧϣⲁⲙϣⲉ ⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⲧⲉ .

    Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry;

    ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲑⲱⲧ ⲛϩⲏⲧ .

    for which things' sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

    ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲱⲛϧ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲓ .

    You also once walked in those, when you lived in them;

    ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲭⲱ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲡⲓϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲡⲓⲙⲃⲟⲛ ϯⲕⲁⲕⲓⲁ ⲡⲓϫⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ .

    but now you also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth.

    ⲙⲡⲉⲣϫⲉⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲉⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲃⲁϣ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲁⲡⲁⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉϥⲡⲣⲁⲝⲓⲥ .

    Don't lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings,

    where there can't be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondservant, freeman; but Christ is all, and in all.

    Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;

    bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.

66. 3.14

    ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲙⲟⲩⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ .

    Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.

    And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

    Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.

69. 3.17

    ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲓⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲡϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ .

    Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him.

70. 3.18

    ⲛⲓϩⲓⲟⲙⲓ ⲙⲁϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲁⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ϧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ .

    Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

71. 3.19

    ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲣⲓⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲓⲟⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲉⲣϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲟⲩⲃⲏⲟⲩ .

    Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them.

72. 3.20

    ⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲥⲁⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉⲑⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ .

    Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord.

73. 3.21

    ⲛⲓⲓⲟϯ ⲙⲡⲉⲣϯϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉϣⲧⲉⲙⲉⲣⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛϩⲏⲧ .

    Fathers, don't provoke your children, so that they won't be discouraged.

74. 3.22

    ⲛⲓⲉⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲥⲁⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲓⲥⲉⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲥⲁⲣⲝ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲃⲁⲗ ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⲁⲛ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲣⲉϥⲣⲁⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲡⲗⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ϩⲱⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙⲡϭ ⲥ .

    Servants, obey in all things those who are your masters according to the flesh, not just when they are looking, as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God.

75. 3.23

    ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲁⲓϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲁⲣⲓϩⲱⲃ ϩⲱⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ .

    And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,

    ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϭⲓ ⲛⲧϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲛϯⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁⲣⲓⲃⲱⲕ ⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ .

    knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

    ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ϥⲛⲁϭⲓ ⲙⲡⲉϥϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲁⲓϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲉϩⲟ ⲛⲁϩⲣⲁϥ .

    But he who does wrong will receive again for the wrong that he has done, and there is no partiality.

    Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

    Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving;
