1. 1.1

   ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲥⲓⲗⲟⲩⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲓⲙⲟⲑⲉⲟⲥ ⲛϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲑⲉⲥⲥⲁⲗⲟⲛⲓⲕⲏ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .

   Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the assembly of the Thessalonians in God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ:

   ⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲧϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .

   Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

   ⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲛⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ϫⲉⲁϥⲉⲣϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲁⲓⲁⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲉⲣϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲛϫⲉⲧⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏ ⲟⲩ .

   We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you towards one another abounds;

   ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲩⲡⲟⲙⲟⲛⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲇⲓⲱⲅⲙⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ

   so that we ourselves boast about you in the assemblies of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure.

5. 1.5

   ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓϩⲁⲡ ⲙⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲡⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲓϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲥ .

   This is an obvious sign of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that you may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which you also suffer.

6. 1.6

   ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲟⲩϩⲁⲡ ⲙⲙⲏⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉϯ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲛⲧϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ .

   Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you,

   ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲁⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲩϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉϥϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓϭⲱⲣⲡ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲫⲉ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉϥϫⲟⲙ .

   and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,

   ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϣⲁϩ ⲛⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲉϥⲛⲁϯ ⲛⲟⲩϭⲓⲙⲡϣⲓϣ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲥⲁⲡⲓⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ .

   giving vengeance to those who don't know God, and to those who don't obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus,

   ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϭⲓ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲡ ⲛⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙⲡϩⲟ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉϥϫⲟⲙ .

   who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

    ϩⲟⲧⲁⲛ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓ ⲉϥⲛⲁϭⲓⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲉⲣϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ϫⲉⲁⲩⲧⲉⲛϩⲉⲧ ⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲉϫⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ .

    when he comes to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired among all those who have believed (because our testimony to you was believed) in that day.

    ⲉⲧⲉⲫⲏ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧϥ ⲛⲥⲏ ⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲑⲣⲉⲛⲉⲣⲡⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲙⲡⲓⲑⲱϩⲉⲙ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥϫⲉⲕ ϯⲙⲁϯ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲁⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲟⲙ .

    To this end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith, with power;

12. 1.12

    ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϭⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲓϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .

    that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

13. 2.1

    ⲧⲉⲛϯϩⲟ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲛⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲡⲁⲣⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ϩⲱⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .

    Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to him, we ask you

14. 2.2

    ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲧⲉⲙⲑⲣⲟⲩⲕⲓⲙ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲕⲁϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲧⲉⲙϣⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ ϩⲱⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲥ ϫⲉⲁϥϧⲱⲛⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ .

    not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Christ had come.

15. 2.3

    ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲣϩⲁⲗ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁϩⲗⲓ ⲛⲣⲏϯ ϫⲉⲁⲥϣⲧⲉⲙⲓ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲛϫⲉϯⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲧⲁⲕⲟ .

    Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the departure comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction,

    ⲡⲓⲁⲛⲧⲓⲕⲓⲙⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲓⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲟⲩϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲉ ⲛⲧⲉϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉ .

    he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.

17. 2.5

    ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲉⲧⲓ ⲉⲛⲭⲏ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲁⲛϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ .

    Don't you remember that, when I was still with you, I told you these things?

18. 2.6

    ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥϭⲱⲣⲡ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲥⲏ ⲟⲩ .

    Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.

19. 2.7

    ⲡⲓⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ϩⲏⲇⲏ ⲥⲉⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲙⲟⲛⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲧⲉϥⲗⲟϫϥ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲙⲏϯ .

    For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way.

20. 2.8

    ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲉϥⲉϭⲱⲣⲡ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛⲧⲉⲣⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲛⲁⲕⲟⲣϥϥ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥϫⲓⲛⲓ .

    Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth, and destroy by the manifestation of his coming;

21. 2.9

    ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲉϥϫⲓⲛⲓ ⲉϥⲭⲏ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲟⲩⲉⲛⲉⲣⲅⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ϧⲉⲛϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ .

    even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

    ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲡⲁⲧⲏ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲓ ⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲉⲑⲃⲉϫⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩϣⲉⲡ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ .

    and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn't receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

23. 2.11

    ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲉⲛⲉⲣⲅⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲗⲁⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ .

    Because of this, God sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie;

    ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⲛⲧⲙⲏⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲩϯⲙⲁϯ ϧⲉⲛϯⲙⲉⲧϭⲓ ⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ .

    that they all might be judged who didn't believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

25. 2.13

    ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲏ ⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲁⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲁⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲥⲉⲧⲡ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲡⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ .

    But we are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth;

26. 2.14

    ⲉⲧⲉⲫⲏ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲑⲁϩⲉⲙ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲩⲧⲁⲛϧⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .

    to which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

27. 2.15

    ϩⲁⲣⲁ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲉⲛⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲛⲛⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲥⲓⲥ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲛⲧⲁⲛ .

    So then, brothers, stand firm, and hold the traditions which you were taught by us, whether by word, or by letter.

    ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲉⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲙⲟⲧ .

    Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,

    ⲉϥⲉϯⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲁϫⲣⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲅⲁⲑⲟⲛ .

    comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word.

30. 3.1

    ⲧⲟ ⲗⲟⲓⲡⲟⲛ ⲛⲉⲛⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϭⲟϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥϭⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲉϥϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ .

    Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you;

31. 3.2

    ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲟⲛⲏⲣⲟⲛ ⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲫⲁ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ .

    and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith.

32. 3.3

    ϥⲉⲛϩⲟⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲛϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲧⲁϫⲣⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲡⲓⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ .

    But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.

33. 3.4

    ⲡⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲑⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ .

    We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.

34. 3.5

    ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲉⲥⲟⲩⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲉⲙϯϩⲩⲡⲟⲙⲟⲛⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .

    May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.

35. 3.6

    ⲧⲉⲛϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲛⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣϥ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲥⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲥⲃⲱ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲛⲏ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲛⲧⲏ ⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ .

    Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion, and not after the tradition which they received from us.

36. 3.7

    ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϫⲉⲙⲡⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲥⲃⲱ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ .

    For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we didn't behave ourselves rebelliously among you,

37. 3.8

    ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲓⲕ ⲛϫⲓⲛϫⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲉⲛⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲙⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ϫⲉⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲧⲉⲙⲟⲩⲁϩⲃⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ .

    neither did we eat bread from anyone's hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you;

38. 3.9

    ⲟⲩⲭ ⲟⲧⲓ ϫⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲧⲏⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲧⲩⲡⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ .

    not because we don't have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.

39. 3.10

    ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲉⲛⲭⲏ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲁⲛϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲡⲕⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ .

    For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.'

40. 3.11

    ⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲑⲃⲉϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲥⲉⲉⲣ ϩⲗⲓ ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲓⲉⲣⲅⲟⲥ .

    For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies.

41. 3.12

    ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲧⲉⲛϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲛϯϩⲟ ϧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉⲙⲣⲁⲩϣ ⲉⲩⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲥⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲱⲓⲕ .

    Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

42. 3.13

    ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣⲛⲕⲁⲕⲓⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ .

    But you, brothers, don't be weary in doing well.

43. 3.14

    ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲥⲁⲡⲉⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲙⲁ ⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉϣⲧⲉⲙⲙⲟⲩϫⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲓⲡⲓ

    If any man doesn't obey our word in this letter, note that man, that you have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.

44. 3.15

    ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩϫⲁϫⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲛ ⲙⲁⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁϥ .

    Don't count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

45. 3.16

    ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲉϯϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲉϥⲉϯ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛϯϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ .

    Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.

46. 3.17

    ⲡⲁⲁⲥⲡⲁⲥⲙⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲁϫⲓϫ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲉⲟⲩⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϯⲥϧⲁⲓ .
