9.24
ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϭⲟϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲁⲇⲓⲟⲛ ⲥⲉϭⲟϫⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉϣⲁϥϭⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲃⲁⲓ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲇⲉ ϭⲟϫⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁϩⲟ .
Don't you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win.
9.25
ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲁⲅⲱⲛⲓⲍⲉⲥⲑⲉ ϣⲁϥⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲏ ⲙⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉϭⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲭⲗⲟⲙ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲧⲧⲁⲕⲟ .
Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.
9.26
ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ϯϭⲟϫⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲱⲡ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϯϯ ϩⲱⲥ ⲉⲓϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲡⲓⲁⲏⲣ .
I therefore run like that, as not uncertainly. I fight like that, as not beating the air,

ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲱϥⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⲙⲏⲡⲱⲥ ⲉⲁⲓϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲭⲱⲟⲩⲛⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ⲛⲥⲉϫⲉⲙⲧ ⲉⲓⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲇⲟⲕⲓⲙⲟⲥ .
but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.
10.1
ⲛϯⲟⲩⲉϣ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧⲉⲙⲓ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲛⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲩⲭⲏ ϧⲁϯϭⲏⲡⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲓⲛⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲫⲓⲟⲙ .
Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
10.2
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϭⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ϧⲉⲛϯϭⲏⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙϧⲉⲛⲫⲓⲟⲙ .
and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
10.3
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲁⲓϧⲣⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲟⲙⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ .
and all ate the same spiritual food;
10.4
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲓⲥⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲥⲟϥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲩⲥⲱ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲡⲛⲁⲧⲓⲕⲏ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲣⲁ ⲉⲥⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩ ϯⲡⲉⲧⲣⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ .
and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.
10.5
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙⲡⲉ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϯⲙⲁϯ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲟⲩϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲁⲩⲫⲱϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ϩⲓⲡϣⲁϥⲉ .
However with most of them, God was not well pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
10.6
ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲧⲩⲡⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲧⲉⲙϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲛ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲛ .
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
10.7
ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲣϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϣⲁⲙϣⲉ ⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲥϧⲏ ⲟⲩⲧ ϫⲉⲁϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲥⲱ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲥⲱⲃⲓ .
Neither be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, 'The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.'
10.8
ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉⲛⲉⲣⲡⲟⲣⲛⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲟⲣⲛⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϩⲉⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲕⲅ ⲛϣⲟ .
Neither let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.
10.9
ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉⲛⲉⲣⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓϩⲟϥ .
Neither let us test the Lord, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.
10.10
ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉⲛⲉⲣⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲭⲣⲉⲙⲣⲉⲙ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲁⲩⲭⲣⲉⲙⲣⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲉϥⲧⲁⲕⲟ .
Neither grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer.
10.11
ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲧⲩⲡⲟⲥ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲁⲩⲥϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉⲩⲥⲃⲱ ϧⲁⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲡϫⲱⲕ ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲉⲣⲕⲁⲧⲁⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ .
Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come.
10.12
ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲙⲉⲩⲓ ϫⲉϥⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲙⲏⲡⲱⲥ ⲛⲧⲉϥϩⲉⲓ .
Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn't fall.
10.13
ⲙⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲁⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲧⲁϩⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ⲉⲡⲓⲣⲁⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϥⲉⲛϩⲟⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛϥⲛⲁⲭⲁ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲉⲣⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉϥⲉϯⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲣⲁⲥⲙⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⲛϥⲁⲓ ϣⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ .
No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
10.14
ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲛⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲁϯ ⲫⲱⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁϯⲙⲉⲧϣⲁⲙϣⲉ ⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ .
Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.
10.15
ⲁⲓϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲥⲁⲃⲉⲩ ⲙⲁϩⲁⲡ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲡⲉϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ .
I speak as to wise men. Judge what I say.
10.16
ⲡⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲉⲩⲗⲟⲅⲓⲁ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲙⲏ ϯⲙⲉⲧϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲓⲱⲓⲕ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲫⲱϣ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲙⲏ ϯⲙⲉⲧϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .
The cup of blessing which we bless, isn't it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn't it a sharing of the body of Christ?
10.17
ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲓⲕ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϧⲁⲛⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲛϭⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲓⲱⲓⲕ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ .
Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.
10.18
ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲓⲥⲗ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲙⲏ ⲛⲏ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⲛϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁⲛⲉⲣϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ .
Consider Israel according to the flesh. Don't those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?
10.19
ⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲡⲉⲧϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϫⲉϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲓⲉ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ .
What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?
10.20
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϫⲉⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩϣⲱⲧ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲧ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁⲛ ⲛϯⲟⲩⲉϣ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲛⲛⲓⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛ .
But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God, and I don't desire that you would have fellowship with demons.
10.21
ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲥⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉϭⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛϯⲧⲣⲁⲡⲉⲍⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙϯⲧⲣⲁⲡⲉⲍⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛ .
You can't both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can't both partake of the table of the Lord, and of the table of demons.
10.22
ϣⲁⲛ ⲁⲛⲛⲁϯⲭⲟϩ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲙⲏ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲛϫⲱⲣⲓ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉⲣⲟϥ .
Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?
10.23
ⲥϣⲉ ⲛⲉⲣ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲥⲉⲣⲛⲟϥⲣⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲝⲉⲥⲧⲓⲛ ⲉⲉⲣ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲥⲉⲕⲱⲧ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ .
'All things are lawful for me,' but not all things are profitable. 'All things are lawful for me,' but not all things build up.
10.24
ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ⲕⲱϯ ⲛⲥⲁⲡⲉⲧⲉⲫⲱϥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲥⲁⲫⲁ ⲡⲉϥϣⲫⲏⲣ
Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor's good.
10.25
ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲩϯ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲙⲁⲕⲉⲗⲗⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϧⲟⲧϧⲉⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲛϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉϯⲥⲩⲛⲏⲇⲉⲥⲓⲥ .
Whatever is sold in the butcher shop, eat, asking no question for the sake of conscience,

ⲫⲁ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉϥⲙⲟϩ .
for 'the earth is the Lord's, and its fullness.'
10.27
ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲑⲛⲁϩϯ ⲑⲱϩⲉⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲙⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲭⲁⲩ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϧⲟⲧϧⲉⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲛϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉϯⲥⲩⲛⲏⲇⲉⲥⲓⲥ .
But if one of those who don't believe invites you to a meal, and you are inclined to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for the sake of conscience.
10.28
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲟⲩϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲑⲃⲉϯⲥⲩⲛⲏⲇⲉⲥⲓⲥ .
But if anyone says to you, 'This was offered to idols,' don't eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience. For 'the earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness.'
10.29
ϯϫⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩⲥⲩⲛⲏⲇⲉⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲑⲱⲕ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲑⲁ ⲡⲉⲕϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲧⲁⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉⲙϩⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲕⲉⲥⲩⲛⲏⲇⲉⲥⲓⲥ .
Conscience, I say, not your own, but the other's conscience. For why is my liberty judged by another conscience?

ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯϭⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϣⲉⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲥⲉϫⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲫⲏ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉϯϣⲉⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱϥ .
If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced for that for which I give thanks?

ⲓⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲕⲉϩⲱⲃ ⲁⲣⲓ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲡϯⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .
Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Give no occasions for stumbling, either to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;

ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱ ⲉϯⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .
Be imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.
11.2
ϯⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲙⲉⲩⲓ ϧⲉⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲓϯ ⲛⲛⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ .
Now I praise you, brothers, that you remember me in all things, and hold firm the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.
11.3
ϯⲟⲩⲉϣ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲧⲁⲫⲉ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲧⲁⲫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲁⲫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉ .
But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.
11.4
ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲓⲉ ⲉϥⲉⲣⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏ ⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲉⲣⲉϫⲱϥ ϩⲱⲃⲥ ⲉϥϯϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲁⲫⲉ .
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.
11.5
ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲥⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲓⲉ ⲉⲥⲉⲣⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏ ⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲛϫⲱⲥ ϩⲱⲃⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲥϯϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲥⲁⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲣⲱ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲑⲏ ⲉⲧⲉϫⲱⲥ ϧⲟⲕϩⲥ .
But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved.
11.6
ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲁϩⲉⲃⲥ ϫⲱⲥ ⲓⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲥϧⲟⲕϩϥ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲟⲩϣⲱϣ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲃⲥ ϫⲱⲥ ⲓⲉ ⲉϧⲟⲕϩϥ ⲓⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲥϩⲉⲃⲥ ϫⲱⲥ .
For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.
11.7
ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲁϥ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲧⲉϥϩⲉⲃⲥ ϫⲱϥ ϫⲉⲟⲩϩⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲑⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ .
For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.
11.8
ⲛⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ .
For man is not from woman, but woman from man;
11.9
ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲉⲛⲧ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ .
for neither was man created for the woman, but woman for the man.
11.10
ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲭⲁ ⲟⲩⲉⲣϣⲱⲛ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲉⲥⲁⲫⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ .
For this cause the woman ought to have authority on her head, because of the angels.
11.11
ⲡⲗⲏⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲭⲱⲣⲓⲥ ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲭⲱⲣⲓⲥ ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ .
Nevertheless, neither is the woman independent of the man, nor the man independent of the woman, in the Lord.
11.12
ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲉϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲉ .
For as woman came from man, so a man also comes through a woman; but all things are from God.
11.13
ⲙⲁϩⲁⲡ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲓⲛⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲁⲥⲥϣⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲥⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛϫⲱⲥ ϩⲟⲃⲥ ⲁⲛ .
Judge for yourselves. Is it appropriate that a woman pray to God unveiled?
11.14
ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛⲑⲟⲥ ϯⲫⲩⲥⲓⲥ ϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲉⲣⲉϫⲱϥ ϣⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩϣⲱϣ ⲛⲁϥ ⲡⲉ
Doesn't even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
11.15
ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲑⲟⲥ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲉⲣⲉϫⲱⲥ ϣⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉⲉⲧⲁⲩϯ ⲙⲡⲓϥⲱⲓ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲛⲧϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣϣⲱⲛ .
But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, for her hair is given to her for a covering.
11.16
ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲉⲣⲣⲉϥϣϭ ⲛⲏⲛ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲁϩⲥ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ .
But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God's assemblies.
11.17
ⲫⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲓϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲓⲑⲙⲁⲓⲟ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲑⲉⲃⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ .
But in giving you this command, I don't praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse.
11.18
ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ϩⲓⲟⲩⲙⲁ ϧⲉⲛϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ϯⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉϩⲁⲛⲫⲱⲣϫ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲁϩϯ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ .
For first of all, when you come together in the assembly, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it.
11.19
ϩⲱϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛϩⲉⲣⲉⲥⲓⲥ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲓⲥⲱⲧⲡ ϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲉⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ .
For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.
11.20
ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲓⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲩⲣⲓⲁⲕⲟⲛ ⲛⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲙϥ .
When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat.
11.21
ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϥⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲛϭⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧϩⲟⲕⲉⲣ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲑⲁϧⲓ ⲇⲉ .
For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunken.
11.22
ⲙⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲙⲟⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ ⲏⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲥⲱ ϣⲁⲛ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲟⲛⲓⲛ ⲛϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϯϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϯⲛⲁϫⲟϥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲧⲁⲑⲙⲁⲓⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲁⲓ ⲛϯⲛⲁⲑⲙⲁⲓⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ .
What, don't you have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God's assembly, and put them to shame who don't have? What shall I tell you? Shall I praise you? In this I don't praise you.
11.23
ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲓϭⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓϫⲱⲣϩ ⲉⲛⲁⲩⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲁϥϭⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲓⲕ
For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread.
11.24
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲁϥⲫⲁϣϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲣⲓⲧϥ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲉⲣⲡⲁⲙⲉⲩⲓ .
When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, 'Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me.'
11.25
ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲉⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁⲡⲓⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲡⲁⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ ϯⲇⲓⲁⲑⲏⲕⲏ ⲙⲃⲉⲣⲓ ⲧⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲣⲓⲧϥ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲥⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲙⲉⲩⲓ .
In the same way he also took the cup, after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me.'
11.26
ⲥⲟⲡ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲱⲓⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⲙⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϣⲁⲧⲉϥⲓ .
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
11.27
ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲓⲱⲓⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲥⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲉϥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲛⲉⲛⲟⲭⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ .
Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
11.28
ⲙⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲇⲟⲕⲓⲙⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲱⲓⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲥⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ .
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.
11.29
ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲥⲱ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲱ ⲉⲩϩⲁⲡ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲇⲓⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲓⲛ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲁⲛ
For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body.
11.30
ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ϣⲱⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲙⲟⲕϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ .
For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
11.31
ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲉⲣⲇⲓⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲓⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲩⲛⲁϯ ϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ .
For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn't be judged.
11.32
ⲉϥϯϩⲁⲡ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲥⲉϣⲧⲉⲙϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲙⲡϩⲁⲡ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ
But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
11.33
ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟϩⲓ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ .
Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait one for another.
11.34
ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧϩⲟⲕⲉⲣ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲧⲉⲙⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲩϩⲁⲡ ⲡⲥⲉⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛⲓ ⲉⲓⲉⲑⲁϣⲟⲩ .
But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.

ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲛϯⲟⲩⲉϣ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲧⲉⲙⲓ
Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I don't want you to be ignorant.
12.2
ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲛⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲭⲏ ϧⲁⲛⲓⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲧϧⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ .
You know that when you were heathen, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led.
12.3
ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ϯⲧⲁⲙⲟ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϩⲗⲓ ⲉϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁⲑⲉⲙⲁ ⲡⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲗⲓ ϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲓⲙⲏϯ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲃ .
Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God's Spirit says, 'Jesus is accursed.' No one can say, 'Jesus is Lord,' but by the Holy Spirit.
12.4
ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲧⲟⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲫⲱϣ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲉⲡⲁⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲣⲱ ⲡⲉ .
Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
12.5
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲧⲟⲓ ⲙⲫⲱϣ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛⲇⲓⲁⲕⲱⲛⲓⲁ ⲉⲡⲁⲓϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲣⲱ ⲡⲉ .
There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord.
12.6
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲧⲟⲓ ⲙⲫⲱϣ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲡⲁⲓⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲣⲱ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ .
There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.
12.7
ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲥⲉϯ ⲛⲁϥ ⲙⲫⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲣⲛⲟϥⲣⲓ .
But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.
12.8
ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁϣⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲁⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲫⲁⲓ .
For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
12.9
ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲣⲱ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛϩⲁⲛϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲁⲗϭⲟ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲣⲱ ⲟⲛ .
to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit;
12.10
ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛϩⲁⲛϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛϫⲟⲙ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲓⲁ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲃⲱⲗ ⲙⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲗⲁⲥ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲉⲣⲙⲏⲛⲓⲁ ⲛⲗⲁⲥ .
and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages.
12.11
ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲡⲁⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲣⲱ ⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲫⲱϣ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁϥ .
But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.
12.12
ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱϥ ⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .
For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
12.13
ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲛϭⲓⲱⲙⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲉⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲉⲓⲛⲓⲛ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲃⲱⲕ ⲓⲧⲉ ⲣⲉⲙϩⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲉⲛ ⲁⲩⲧⲥⲟⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ .
For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.
12.14
ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ .
For the body is not one member, but many.
12.15
ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ϯϭⲁⲗⲟϫ ϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲟⲩϫⲓϫ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ .
If the foot would say, 'Because I'm not the hand, I'm not part of the body,' it is not therefore not part of the body.
12.16
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲁϣϫ ϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲃⲁⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ .
If the ear would say, 'Because I'm not the eye, I'm not part of the body,' it's not therefore not part of the body.
12.17
ⲉⲛⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲟⲩⲃⲁⲗ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲉⲁϥⲑⲱⲛ ϩⲱϥ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲡⲉ ⲁϥⲑⲱⲛ ϩⲱϥ ⲡⲓϣⲱⲗⲉⲙ .
If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be?
12.18
ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲭⲱ ⲛⲛⲓⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣ .
But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired.
12.19
ⲉⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲉⲁϥⲑⲱⲛ ϩⲱϥ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ .
If they were all one member, where would the body be?
12.20
ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲛⲓⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ .
But now they are many members, but one body.
12.21
ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲃⲁⲗ ϫⲟⲥ ⲛϯϫⲓϫ ϫⲉϯⲉⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲙⲙⲟ ⲁⲛ ⲓⲉ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ϯⲁⲫⲉ ⲛⲛⲓϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ϫⲉϯⲉⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ .
The eye can't tell the hand, 'I have no need for you,' or again the head to the feet, 'I have no need for you.'
12.22
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙⲁⲗⲗⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϫⲉⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⲛϫⲱⲃ ⲛⲁⲓ ϩⲁⲛⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲉⲟⲛ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲛⲉ .
No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.
12.23
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϫⲉⲥⲉϣⲏϣ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛϯ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϫⲁⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲉⲥⲁⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ .
Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety;
12.24
ⲛⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲥⲉⲉⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁϥⲑⲉⲧ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲁϥϯ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉⲧϣⲁⲧ .
whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honor to the inferior part,
12.25
ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϣⲧⲉⲙⲫⲱⲣϫ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϥⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩϣ ϧⲁⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ .
that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
12.26
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϭⲓⲙⲕⲁϩ ϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϭⲓⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϭⲓⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ .
When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
12.27
ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲙⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉϥⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ .
Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
12.28
ⲛⲏ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲭⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏ ⲥⲓⲁ ϣⲟⲣⲡ ϩⲁⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲫⲙⲁϩ ⲃ ϩⲁⲛⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲫⲙⲁϩ ⲅϩⲁⲛⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁⲛⲁⲓ ϩⲁⲛϫⲟⲙ ⲓⲧⲁ ϩⲁⲛϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲁⲗϭⲟ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϯⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲉⲣϩⲉⲙⲓ ϩⲁⲛⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲗⲁⲥ .
God has set some in the assembly: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages.
12.29
ⲙⲏ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲉⲣⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲏ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲉⲣⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲏ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲉⲣⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲏ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲉⲣϫⲟⲙ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ .
Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?
