ⲁϥⲉⲣϩⲏⲧⲥ ⲛϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲁⲛⲭⲁ ⲡⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛⲥⲱⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲩⲁϩⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲥⲱⲕ .
Peter began to tell him, 'Behold, we have left all, and have followed you.'

Jesus said, 'Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News,
10.30
ⲁϥϣⲧⲉⲙϭⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲣ ⲛⲕⲱⲃ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲓⲥⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲛⲏⲓ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲥⲱⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛⲓⲟϩⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲇⲓⲱⲅⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉⲱⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϧ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ .
but he will receive one hundred times more now in this time, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land, with persecutions; and in the age to come eternal life.

ϩⲁⲛⲙⲏϣ ⲇⲉ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲉⲩⲉⲉⲣϧⲁⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛϧⲁⲉⲩ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ .
But many who are first will be last; and the last first.'

ⲛⲁⲩϩⲓ ⲫⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲩⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲏ ⲓⲉⲓⲉⲣⲟⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲁϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲛⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣⲁⲕⲟⲗⲟⲩⲑⲓⲛ ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲁϥⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲓⲃ ⲉⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲁϥⲉⲣϩⲏⲧⲥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ
They were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going in front of them, and they were amazed; and those who followed were afraid. He again took the twelve, and began to tell them the things that were going to happen to him.

ϫⲉϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲓⲗⲏ ⲙⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϯϩⲁⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ
'Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and the scribes. They will condemn him to death, and will deliver him to the Gentiles.
10.34
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲥⲱⲃⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϩⲓⲑⲁϥ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲉⲣⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲅⲟⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϧⲟⲑⲃϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁⲅⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ϥⲛⲁⲧⲱⲛϥ
They will mock him, spit on him, scourge him, and kill him. On the third day he will rise again.'

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲍⲉⲃⲉⲇⲉⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲫⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲣⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲁⲓϥ ⲛⲁⲛ .
James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came near to him, saying, 'Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we will ask.'

ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁϣϥ ⲛⲧⲁⲁⲓϥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
He said to them, 'What do you want me to do for you?'
10.37
ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲙⲏⲓⲥ ⲛⲁⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲥⲁⲧⲉⲕⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲥⲁⲧⲉⲕϫⲁϭⲏ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲕⲱⲟⲩ
They said to him, 'Grant to us that we may sit, one at your right hand, and one at your left hand, in your glory.'

ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲣⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲥⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲉϯⲥⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲓⲉ ⲡⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⲉϯⲱⲙⲥ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ .
But Jesus said to them, 'You don't know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?'

ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲡⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲉϯⲥⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲥⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⲉϯⲱⲙⲥ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲉⲙⲥ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ .
They said to him, 'We are able.' Jesus said to them, 'You shall indeed drink the cup that I drink, and you shall be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;

ⲡⲓϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲓⲉ ϫⲁϭⲏ ⲙⲫⲱⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲁ ⲛⲏ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ .
but to sit at my right hand and at my left hand is not mine to give, but for whom it has been prepared.'

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲕⲉⲓ ⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲏ ⲧⲥ ⲛⲭⲣⲉⲙⲣⲉⲙ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ
When the ten heard it, they began to be indignant towards James and John.

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲙⲉⲩⲓ ϫⲉⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲉⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⲛⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ .
Jesus summoned them, and said to them, 'You know that they who are recognized as rulers over the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.
10.43
ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲉⲣⲛⲓϣϯ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲉⲣⲇⲓⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant.

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲉⲣϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲉⲣⲃⲱⲕ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ
Whoever of you wants to become first among you, shall be bondservant of all.
10.45
ⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲱⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩϣⲉⲙϣⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϯ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲥⲱϯ ⲛϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ .
For the Son of Man also came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.'

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲓ ⲉⲓⲉⲣⲓⲭⲱ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲓⲉⲣⲓⲭⲱ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲉϥⲟϣ ⲃⲁⲣⲧⲓⲙⲉⲟⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲓⲙⲉⲟⲥ ⲉⲟⲩⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲛⲁϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲉⲥⲕⲉⲛⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ .
They came to Jericho. As he went out from Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road.
10.47
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲓⲣⲉⲙⲛⲁⲍⲁⲣⲉⲑ ⲡⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣϩⲏⲧⲥ ⲛϫⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ .
When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and say, 'Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!'

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲧⲓⲙⲁⲛ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϫⲉϩⲁⲛⲙⲏϣ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲭⲁⲣⲱϥ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲙⲁⲗⲗⲟⲛ ⲛⲁϥⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ
Many rebuked him, that he should be quiet, but he cried out much more, 'You son of David, have mercy on me!'

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉϫⲉⲙⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲧⲱⲛⲕ ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ .
Jesus stood still, and said, 'Call him.' They called the blind man, saying to him, 'Cheer up! Get up. He is calling you!'
10.50
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲉⲧ ⲡⲉϥϩⲃⲟⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥϥⲟϫϥ ⲉⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲁϥⲓ ϩⲁⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ .
He, casting away his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus.
10.51
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲕⲟⲩⲁϣϥ ⲛⲧⲁⲁⲓϥ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲡⲓⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲣⲁⲃⲃⲟⲩⲛⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲙⲃⲟⲗ .
Jesus asked him, 'What do you want me to do for you?' The blind man said to him, 'Rhabboni, that I may see again.'

ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲙⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲁϩϯ ⲡⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲁⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲙⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ .
Jesus said to him, 'Go your way. Your faith has made you well.' Immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥϧⲱⲛⲧ ⲉⲓⲉⲣⲟⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ ⲁϥⲓ ⲉⲃⲏ ⲑⲫⲁⲅⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲃⲏⲑⲁⲛⲓⲁ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓϫⲱⲓⲧ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛⲃ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ
When they drew near to Jerusalem, to Bethsphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲙⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲡⲁⲓϯⲙⲓ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲑⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉϫⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲏϫ ⲉϥⲥⲟⲛϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲁⲧⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲗⲏⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲙⲁϯⲟⲩⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲓⲧϥ
and said to them, 'Go your way into the village that is opposite you. Immediately as you enter into it, you will find a young donkey tied, on which no one has sat. Untie him, and bring him.
11.3
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲁϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲁⲧⲟⲧϥ ϥⲛⲁⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡϥ ⲙⲛⲁⲓ
If anyone asks you, 'Why are you doing this?' say, 'The Lord needs him;' and immediately he will send him back here.'

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲏϫ ⲉϥⲥⲟⲛϩ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲓϧⲓⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯⲟⲩⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
They went away, and found a young donkey tied at the door outside in the open street, and they untied him.

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϯⲟⲩⲱ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲏ ϫ .
Some of those who stood there asked them, 'What are you doing, untying the young donkey?'

They said to them just as Jesus had said, and they let them go.

They brought the young donkey to Jesus, and threw their garments on it, and Jesus sat on it.

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲏϣ ⲁⲩⲫⲱⲣϣ ⲛⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲱⲥ ϩⲓⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲭⲱⲟⲩⲛⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲕⲱⲣϫ ⲛϩⲁⲛϫⲁⲗ ⲛϣϣⲏⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲓⲟϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲫⲱⲣϣ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ .
Many spread their garments on the way, and others were cutting down branches from the trees, and spreading them on the road.

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲛⲁⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ϩⲓⲧϩⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲛⲁⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ϩⲓⲫⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉⲱⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ϥⲥⲙⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲉⲧⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲉⲓⲥ
Those who went in front, and those who followed, cried out, 'Hosanna
11.10
ⲥⲥⲙⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲛϫⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲉⲑⲛⲏ ⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲛⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲱⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϭⲟⲥⲓ
Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is coming in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!'
11.11

Jesus entered into the temple in Jerusalem. When he had looked around at everything, it being now evening, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.

The next day, when they had come out from Bethany, he was hungry.

Seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came to see if perhaps he might find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
11.14
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉⲛⲛⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ϫⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ϩⲓⲱϯ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ .
Jesus told it, 'May no one ever eat fruit from you again!' and his disciples heard it.

They came to Jerusalem, and Jesus entered into the temple, and began to throw out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of those who sold the doves.
11.16
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥⲭⲱ ⲛϩⲗⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲕⲉⲩⲟⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ .
He would not allow anyone to carry a container through the temple.
11.17
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲥⲥϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϫⲉⲡⲁⲏⲓ ⲉⲩⲉⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲙⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲓϥ ⲙⲃⲏⲃ ⲛⲥⲟⲛⲓ .
He taught, saying to them, 'Isn't it written, 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations?'
11.18
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲕⲱϯ ϫⲉⲁⲩⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟϥ ⲛⲁϣ ⲛⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ϧⲁⲧⲉϥϩⲏ ⲡⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲉϥⲥⲃⲱ .
The chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him. For they feared him, because all the multitude was astonished at his teaching.

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩϩⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁϥϩⲏⲗ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϯⲃⲁⲕⲓ
When evening came, he went out of the city.
11.20
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲥⲓⲛⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲁⲧⲟⲟⲩⲓ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉϯⲃⲱ ⲛⲕⲉⲛⲧⲉ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲟⲩⲓ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲥⲛⲟⲩⲛⲓ .
As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots.
11.21
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲣⲁⲃⲃⲓ ⲓⲥ ϯⲃⲱ ⲛⲕⲉⲛⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲕⲥⲁϩⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲟⲩⲓ .
Peter, remembering, said to him, 'Rabbi, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered away.'
11.22
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲭⲁ ⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ .
Jesus answered them, 'Have faith in God.
11.23
ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲛⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉϥⲓⲧⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲓⲧⲕ ⲉⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲧⲉⲙϭⲓⲥⲁⲛⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥϩⲏⲧ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲛⲁϩϯ ϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϥⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁϥ .
For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and doesn't doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says.
11.24
ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲣⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲁϩϯ ϫⲉⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ .
Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.
11.25
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲉⲣⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⲭⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ϩⲱϥ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲭⲱ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲡⲧⲱⲙⲁ .
Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.
11.26
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲟⲧⲁⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲧⲉⲙⲭⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲭⲱ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲡⲧⲱⲙⲁ
But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions.'
11.27
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲓⲉⲣⲟⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲁⲩⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ
They came again to Jerusalem, and as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders came to him,

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲁⲕⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲁϣ ⲛⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲓⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲧⲁϥϯ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ .
and they began saying to him, 'By what authority do you do these things? Or who gave you this authority to do these things?'
11.29
ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉϯⲛⲁϣⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲁⲣⲓⲟⲩⲱ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϯⲛⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉⲁⲓⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲁϣ ⲛⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ
Jesus said to them, 'I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
11.30
ⲡⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲫⲉ ⲡⲉ ϣⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲣⲓⲟⲩⲱ ⲛⲏⲓ
The baptism of John--was it from heaven, or from men? Answer me.'
11.31
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲙⲟⲕⲙⲉⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲁⲛϣⲁⲛϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲫⲉ ⲡⲉ ϥⲛⲁϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
They reasoned with themselves, saying, 'If we should say, 'From heaven;' he will say, 'Why then did you not believe him?'
11.32
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲟⲛⲧⲱⲥ ⲛⲉⲟⲩⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲉ .
If we should say, 'From men''--they feared the people, for all held John to really be a prophet.
11.33
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϩⲱϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϯⲛⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲁⲓⲓⲣⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲁϣ ⲛⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ .
They answered Jesus, 'We don't know.' Jesus said to them, 'Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.'

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣϩⲏⲧⲥ ⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⲛⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁϥϭⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲓⲁϩⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲕⲱⲧ ⲛⲟⲩϫⲟⲉⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲱⲕ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲣⲱⲧ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲕⲱⲧ ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲩⲣⲅⲟⲥ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲓⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲡϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ
He began to speak to them in parables. 'A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a pit for the winepress, built a tower, rented it out to a farmer, and went into another country.
12.2
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ϩⲁⲛⲓⲟⲩⲓⲏ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲥⲏ ⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲃⲱⲕ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϥϭⲓ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲓⲟⲩⲓⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲓⲁϩⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ .
When it was time, he sent a servant to the farmer to get from the farmer his share of the fruit of the vineyard.
12.3
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϭⲓⲧϥ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡϥ ⲉϥϣⲟⲩⲓⲧ .
They took him, beat him, and sent him away empty.

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲕⲉⲃⲱⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲁⲩⲫⲟⲗϩϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲟϣϥ .
Again, he sent another servant to them; and they threw stones at him, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated.

Again he sent another; and they killed him; and many others, beating some, and killing some.
12.6
ⲉⲧⲓ ⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧ ⲉⲛⲁϥⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡϥ ⲉⲡϧⲁⲉ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲥⲉⲛⲁϣⲫⲓⲧ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ .
Therefore still having one, his beloved son, he sent him last to them, saying, 'They will respect my son.'
12.7
ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲓⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲙⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛϧⲟⲑⲃϥ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲉⲣⲑⲱⲛ .
But those farmers said among themselves, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.'
12.8
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϭⲓⲧϥ ⲁⲩϧⲟⲑⲃϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧϥ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲓⲓⲁϩⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ .
They took him, killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
12.9

What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.

ⲉⲧⲁ ⲫⲁⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲟⲓ ⲛϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲛⲃⲁⲗ .
This was from the Lord, it is marvelous in our eyes'?'
12.12

They tried to seize him, but they feared the multitude; for they perceived that he spoke the parable against them. They left him, and went away.

When they had come, they asked him, 'Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don't defer to anyone; for you aren't partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?
12.15

Shall we give, or shall we not give?' But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, 'Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.'
12.16

They brought it. He said to them, 'Whose is this image and inscription?' They said to him, 'Caesar's.'

Jesus answered them, 'Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.' They marveled greatly at him.

'Teacher, Moses wrote to us, 'If a man's brother dies, and leaves a wife behind him, and leaves no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up offspring for his brother.'
12.20
ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲍⲇⲉ ⲛⲥⲟⲛ ϧⲁⲧⲟⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ ϭⲓⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲭⲁ ϫⲣⲟϫ .
There were seven brothers. The first took a wife, and dying left no offspring.

The second took her, and died, leaving no children behind him. The third likewise;

and the seven took her and left no children. Last of all the woman also died.
12.23
ϧⲉⲛϯⲁⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲁⲥⲛⲁⲉⲣ ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲛⲓⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲓⲍ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲩϭⲓⲧⲥ ⲛⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ .
In the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be of them? For the seven had her as a wife.'
12.24
ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲉⲙⲏ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲟⲣⲉⲙ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲛϯⲅⲣⲁⲫⲏ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϯϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ
Jesus answered them, 'Isn't this because you are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God?
12.25
ϩⲟⲧⲁⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲩϣⲁⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲁⲩϭⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲁⲩϭ ⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲩⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ .
For when they will rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲱϣ ϩⲓⲡϫⲱⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲡⲱⲥ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡⲓⲃⲁⲧⲟⲥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲛⲉⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲓⲥⲁⲁⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ .
But about the dead, that they are raised; haven't you read in the book of Moses, about the Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'?
12.27
ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲁ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲁ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲟⲣⲉⲙ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ .
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are therefore badly mistaken.'
12.28
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲕⲱϯ ⲉϥⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲗⲱⲥ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥϣⲉⲛϥ ϫⲉⲁϣ ⲧⲉ ϯⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ .
One of the scribes came, and heard them questioning together. Knowing that he had answered them well, asked him, 'Which commandment is the greatest of all?'
12.29
ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲉϯϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲥⲗ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ .
Jesus answered, 'The greatest is, 'Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one:
12.30
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲕⲉⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲕϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲉⲕⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲕⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲉⲕϫⲟⲙ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ .
you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment.
12.31
ϯⲙⲁϩⲥⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲉⲕⲉⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲕϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲕⲉⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲉⲥⲟⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲛⲁⲓ .
The second is like this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these.'
12.32
ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲥⲁϧ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲗⲱⲥ ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲁⲕϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .
The scribe said to him, 'Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he,

ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲕϩⲏ ⲧⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲉⲕϫⲟⲙ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲕⲁϯ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲕϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲣⲏϯ ⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲛⲓϭⲗⲓⲗ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ .
and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.'
12.34
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲉⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲭⲟⲩⲏⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲉ ϩⲗⲓ ϣⲉⲣⲧⲟⲗⲙⲁⲛ ⲉϣⲉⲛϥ .
When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, 'You are not far from the Kingdom of God.' No one dared ask him any question after that.
12.35
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲛϫⲉⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲁϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲡⲱⲥ ⲥⲉϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ϫⲉⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲡⲉ .
Jesus responded, as he taught in the temple, 'How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?
12.36
ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϫⲉⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲁϭⲟⲓⲥ ϫⲉϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲥⲁⲧⲁⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ϣⲁϯⲭⲁ ⲛⲉⲕϫⲁϫⲓ ⲥⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲛⲛⲉⲕϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ .
For David himself said in the Holy Spirit, 'The Lord said to my Lord, 'Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.''
